Great pictures

Rex

It was good to talk to you.And you did a great job posting the pictures.

The bottom pic, 2nd cue from the left - do you have any other photos of that cue? It looks pretty crazy! What's the one in the middle, a Ginacue?

The second cue from the left is "Visitation" by Richard Black. More photos of it are posted on his site under More Functional Art. Sick, sick, sick!

My partner in crime for most of the weekend was AZer 'El Beau'. Although our GPS was hellbent on getting us lost we managed to hit most of the attractions. Which included, Classic (Classique) Billiards somewhere out in Blair Witch country, Maggianos (ate way too much there), Cheesecake Factory (ate too much there too!), Ruth Chris Steak House (this steak is burnt!), Four Kings Kenny's party (AWESOME!), and of course, Room 1411 & 1417.

Little Kenny, thanks so much for throwing the house party.

This was my first time to the SBE and all I've got to say is WOW! I was indeed Rex's wingman for most of the show. Let me tell you, this guy was like a rockstar at the event. In a sea of brown and black cases, the red and blue flamed case definitely stood out. It seemed like every few feet someone was stopping him to talk about his case!
Rex is a case nut. In an effort to further his craft, he was checking out every custom case he saw at the Expo- going so far as to tap people on the shoulder to see if they'd let him admire their case! Just imagine your typical cue fanatic, but focus the energy on cases. Pretty impressive.
Kenny Carfagno was a great host opening his home up to us. Kenny Koo and his wife Carolyn were most gracious hosts as well for our small group Thursday night. How big do you reckon that dessert was Rex- 6/4, 8/4? I think Friday at Maggiano's about did me in. I was so full I couldn't ever get comfortable at the table at Classique. Heck of a move Kenny pulled on us there!
Got to shoot a few balls with the Sugartree Harvey Martin tribute- thanks Justin.
Yes, the GPS was a little glitchy. Maybe that was so you or Sanjay could see some deer? Nothin' like havin' royalty in the Rent-A-Wreck. "You paid money for this car?"
It was great to finally meet so many people I've spoken with over the years. Being a cue nut, to finally see everyone's work was definitely memorable.
Oh, and I enjoyed being BellForest's "sponsored cuemaker" as well.

Best,
Beau

I distinctly remember you asking Will Prout to take a picture of the two of us, but somehow I wound up being the one taking the pictures. I didn't see it up here- did I cut somebody's head off?

Great pictures Rex, looks like it was a blast. Looks like you and the "smooth operator" were up to no good, he didn't lead you astray did he?:)

Great meeting you Rex and Beau!

We all know who the brains of the operation is...:p

Awesome pics,
Chris

Cyrex,

It was a genuine pleasure to finally meet you at the SBE. What an amazing case you had on your shoulder! You were one of the special events of the entire show! I also really enjoyed the Redhead case as well.

ELBeau,

Gret to see you again! You made a great "wingman", as you say. And I can imagine how many people you met just by being close to one of Cyrex`s cases!

Will Prout

Thank you for posting the pics, Rex, I hope to get there in a year or two. It would be a great adventure.
