You know, I hear quite a few people complain about Jim Wyche's commentary skills but if you listen to Jim, while he may seem to have a bit more exuberance for the European team (the same complaint that Jay Helfert was accused of), Jim brings an excellent voice and a very positive influence to the commentary booth. I think that commentators have a tendency to become exuberant when they see good play, lucky play or bad rolls. They are not there to favor one side over the other but to heighten the experience for those listening or watching.
