Most underrated pro player ?

I don't know but Ralph Souquet gets my vote.

Ralf is definitely not underrated. He has long been acknowledged as one of the best in the game. Rodney may be somewhat underrated. He is usually never considered to win a tournament beforehand but he always seems to place high. I think Rodney can play with anyone right now.

hehe,

i m here with Jay, too--to call Ralf as underrated would be a bit funny. He s top-rated for longer than a decade. If someone would underestimate him.....funny :)

Rodney Morris perhaps, and i think Dechaine will make his way also. Very strong player-won t take long that his name will be up everywhere imo.

I think you are right in this , though I think Tommy Kennedy would be the most underrated pro. AH COME ON !!

ALL OF THEM ARE UNDERRATED..........

john Q public has no idea the quantity of work and dedication it takes to attain even really good skills in this game much less to be a master of the game/s.

I think Joey's point in naming Ralf as an underrated player is that despite all the praise and accolades he has received over the years, he actually deserves EVEN MORE. Putting it that way, I actually do consider Ralf "underrated". He should be considered as one of the greatest in the history of the game. But as far as the "most" underrated, maybe not.

I think Kiamco is still fairly underrated here in America. I think he plays pretty much on par with the big Pinoy boys, but that one big tournament victory still eludes him.

Nobody mentions RS as the best player today when you poll peeps, I think.

Tommy kennedy is the most underrated pool player ever!you think some one that has won the u s open would never be underrated, its not like you can get lucky and win the open, and then win in the finals against archer 11 1,come on give the man his due,he is, was an elite player!

Problem was , he didn't win another title after that, iirc ( PBT tourneys ).

Danny Harriman - arguably the best all-around player in the U.S.
Mike Davis
Ronnie Alcano

I agree with the original post that Souquet is underrated. Though he is recognized as a fantastic and elite player, I think he is among the best that ever played pool, and is rarely cited for it. Still, he is not the most underrated.

A player who seems to garner little attention but impresses the hell out of me whenever I watch him play is Shannon Murphy, so I'll submit him as very underrated.
