My "conversation" with Marty Herman

You would think so but i have seen at least 2 guys as bad as MH who never got theirs. I remember one guys funeral where everyone said "he told it like it is" meanwhile he was just a hateful ***** like MH not a single good quality. Life aint fair.

I kind of equate it to someone who threatens to commit suicide. Usually, a person who is contemplating suicide doesn't utter a word to anyone; rather, they just do it. Those who cry suicide to their loved ones and friends really don't want to kill themselves. They're reaching out in hopes of getting someone to give them compassionate attention. That is really all they are seeking.

Again, it's not the loudmouth or bully that one needs to worry about as far as violence. Worry about the silent one, as that's going to be the sniper who hits and runs.

As it pertains to Marty, the more attention that is given to him at this juncture, the louder he will squawk. It is better to let him blow off his steam, I think. Silence is the best remedy for a situation of this caliber, IMO.

As far as a bipolar defense in legal proceedings, well, don't be so sure that being bipolar ain't used in courtrooms today to plead down charges, because it is used often by defense counsel in an effort to lessen the charge or, in some cases, allow the person to get off scot-free.

Loudmouths or bullies who threaten violence aren't the ones you have to watch out for; it's the silent one who never looks for trouble that is the most dangerous.

one of Marty's claims is that he created AZBilliards or, at the very least, gave them the idea for it.

That's actually a familiar pattern with FL as well; outlandish and obviously disprovable claims, constant emails and threats, terrible grammar and spelling, the wild body movements, off-and-on rage, etc. There's another pro player who acts in the same manner too, actually two I can think of but the younger one is only at the beginning of this.

I wonder if a psychologist or psychiatrist would be willing to have a look at this and perhaps identify the problem so the right kind of help could be given.

However, that said, at any point someone starts quoting lines from any religious text telling me to kill others I have to stop listening and back away slowly. These are usually the people who think strapping bombs to themselves is a, "message". This is a very clear warning sign.

This is one cliche that I've always had a problem with. Say you walk into a bar, and one guy is screaming like a madman, waving a gun around and threatening to kill everyone in the room.

Another guy is quietly reading a book in the corner, not bothering anybody.

First off, I was not "waving a gun around".

Secondly, that quiet guy's a freakin timebomb if he's got the nerve to sit and read while somebody is having a vocal one-sided conversation with the entire establishment.

...Marty stomped into the room and demanded health insurance. Kiger asked Marty why he should get health insurance from RJR. Marty replied: "I play in your events, so I am your employee and I deserve all of the rights of your other employees."

Kiger paused. He could not believe what he was hearing. Then he said: "You play on the Camel Tour and that makes you an employee?" Marty said: "Of course it does."

So Kiger reached in his pocket, pulled out the entry fee amount for that event, handed it to Marty and said: "You're fired, get out."....

And that...is why execs are paid what they are paid by the folks who determine pay levels.

From this example here, it is PLAINLY abvious that the quiet one is none other than "Dirty" Harry Callahan. Always as cool as the other side of the pillow!

No one can just be diagnosed as an a**hole anymore. But i will say that, after watching Marty's show, I think he may be legitimately nuts (but no one is just plain ole nuts anymore either).
