my house room

Hey

You have a great set up.
Love the bits and pieces of the history of things you enjoyed throughout your life decorating your room.
It is amazing to see the variety of things and now would love to hear the stories.

Great seeing you once again and I will be in touch pretty soon.

Nice seeing you guys at the wedding, was that not the best party

Too many stories for here....lol

Hey

Attention to detail is everything. That cheetah wallpaper makes the room. Need a close-up of the strip below the ceiling, my eyes are not what they used to be, as evidenced by my game. Great room!

that wallpaper is the best part.....it was me and my cheetah paper versus the rest of the family...lol. You can see who won this battle

you should add some more colors to that table, like chartreuse or orange dayglow.......... Just kidding with you. Very nice room indeed. Nice wall stuff:thumbup:

paper

I think the wallpaper is leopard, not cheetah.

I really did not anticipate the bright pink pool cue. Now everybody's going to want one.

Great room. Congratulations.

Just as a person's collection of cues gives us a small glimpse into the type of person we routinely "chat" with on this forum...this gives us a wide-angle view!

Thanks for "inviting" us in for a visit!

Hey

I did the same thing to my table except I also included the legs. It was a lot of work as there were 3 coats of paint on mine. It was worth it though as the table looks great.

Steve

That is a "players" table for sure. I would be curious to know your level of play.

Nice room for sure and I am sure you will get lots of enjoyment out of it.
Thanks for posting the pictures.

Kevin

Kevin, That table has been to 3 houses on Long Islandoff to Houston, off to California, back to Long Island in storage for 2 years and then on to 2 other houses......I think it's in it's final resting place. redoing the entire table and getting rid of the blue was very enticing, but I just decided that it's been through a lot, and it just wouldn't feel right to me.

I can attest - that room is very comfortable to play pool and just talk about cues in. It's fun to look at all the eclectic pieces all over the place.

Next month is looking pretty good for me to swing by again. We can firm up a date if all is good on your end.

Thanks for sharing,
Chris

Awesome room. Good call on keeping the table original. It has character.

I like the overall eclectic style, but a couple details I particularly like are the floor (are you going to put down any area rugs?) and the door hardware.

both you and wil prout have the same table

same gold crown 1 and the same blue rails and cloth

i would also like to buy that exact set up,provided the pockets and rails were original
good size

i love your set up,it is just what i like

great room

love the room. As a former paperhanger in Long Island, I am also curious about the border.

Cool...

Of course. I am thinking mid-month on a Saturday and I will stay at the Hampton Inn again. So that should be plenty of time for cue talk, dinner and some pool.

Talk soon.

You have great taste in pool and pool cues -- movies, not so much. :p

Congrats on your room coming together.

If I had your money, I would throw mine away Steve. Great room. I enjoyed seeing everything there. Thank you for sharing it. Rod.

Great room....

Thanks, the room did come out great. I could barely see the flamed van out that window.....yep it's mine. was thinking long and hard about refinishing the table and getting rid of the blue, but decided that being it was all original and that I have had it since 72, I was just gonna leave it alone. I am glad I made that decision

Thanks for the nice comments

Great room! I really like the table. Would you believe I also have a Gold Crown 1 that I acquired in 1972 also.....and mine also has the blue side panels!! I almost pulled the trigger several times in the last ten years or so, but could not bring myself to send away a "family member" that I have moved all over for 40 years.

I also really enjoy the musical accessories. I placed a late 1950s V200 jukebox in the room, loaded with 45's, including Beatles records I bought new long ago.

Thanks for sharing such a fine home setup.

A place to spend hours and hours. Great room.

Nice to see you last week, Steve.

Awesome room - you sure there isn't room a for a poker table?! The use of wood in there is brilliant, really adds to it imho.
