You sure have some kinda class to do this on this persons thread. Your such a child.
I do like your cases though, they all look exactly the same

I'd like to see some evidence of this assertion. Without that I'd have to call you a liar.
This looks more and more like "Battle of the casemakers". Or "So you think you can build a case". Or "Case Idol"
I have much respect for both John and Jack when it comes to their work. I am waiting for my JB case that should arrive tomorrow and I have seen plenty of Jack's cases in my life to know that both are great case makers and they can provide great quality/protection for my cues.
I chose John only because I used Instroke since I picked up pool and I was always very very happy with the work/quality/protection offered. And of course, why pay couple hundred more ?
Too bad this dispute is turning into "The Young and the Restless" . It's fun to see you guys "compeating" but really, I don't see any cuemakers jumping at eachothers throat for supremacy.
Just my $0.02...
Hello all, here is a pic of my new John Barton case. It's hard to get a good picture because the case is black on black but I think we got a decent on here.
It's a totally plain case with my name engraved on the case cap (this is the style I like). The quality of the materials and workmanship is better than I imagined.
John was great working with me as well as patient. I am super happy with this case.
as promised Dan, here are some more pictures of your case.
Thanks again for the business, it's a pleasure protecting your cues.

@John
I have to say I really like how passionate you are about your work. In 7 hours I will pick-up my case and I'll be able to concur with or dispute your statements based on what I see.
P.S. : Can I insert my shafts "tip up" or that could cause some damage to them ?![]()
Jack,
You have been warned in private email what the consequences of your actions would be if you continued to provoke me.
You made your choice.
Roadie,
You have sent so many private emails I could publish my own book. I see you comparing us again which you said many times you would never do again. I knew you could not resist.
I hope the stitching quality of your new case is better than the Strong Bear case John sold to someone here on AZ. If I recall this case sold for over $800.

Jack,
That case was mine and those were not stitches... I remember that was a loose line and all I had to do was to pull it out. Good eye anyway but that is not an answer to what John posted. He all know your cases look awesome and we all know that John and his team can make an awesome case as well. Different people, different styles, different worries and approaches.
Pathetic![]()
For f*cks sake, I created this thread to show the new quality cause I purchased. I am happy as hell I got it, but regret I posted anything. The goal was to show other pool players the skill and dedication some people have to the game and their art, not to start a pissing contest between two very good craftsman.
Think about this: You both make a quality product. You may not like each other but each of you has strengths and weaknesses that the other does not possess. Live with it. Arguing or not you are still going sell a comparable amount cases to future pool players.
