i apologise to everyone I planned on meeting up with this week in Vegas.

the first half of the week I was in bed with a backache the second half on the phone with the accountants and lawyers dealing with a last minut thing I wasnt aware of until Tuesday night.

I only made it to the Riv 3 times, 2 of which were brief and once I was laying on the floor in the Matchroom media room(thanks guys!!) my back was s bad I couldnt sit in a chair, and I didnt want to load up on pills its been 20 months +/- a month since I cut down on the beans by 90%-except the OTC stuff like Advil, Morin and Bayer Asprin.

Thanks for the dinner invite Watchez, I couldnt fade the pain that nite. Someday I wish this back problem would go away its ruining my life, its like jail. I did have one friend come over to play me and I started out the gate strong(over my head) awalys a good feeling. I told him in a hour to 2 hours I doubt I will be playing as good, Sadly I was right. Sometimes I can last longer. But At least I got to play good for a while and see a few friends briefly.

I'm noticing a pattern I cant make it to Valley Forge no matter what, When the Riv is going on I'm in pain or to busy, I can go to the Derby no problem(sometimes there is pain) and the US Open seems to work out. The M-Cup works out too,

The nice thing is I do get to have a social life here and phone. I cant imagine in the 40's only having a radio for someone in my condition. So I'm lucky to have friends here, and I mean real heart felt friends who I care about, thats worth the world to me. Thanks everyone.

You were missed.

I feel your pain Eric. I had a back op and now my discs are deteriorating along with my vertebrae. If I'm not craeful, I pinch my sciatic nerve easily which can put me on my back in bed for several days.
The next time I'm in Vegas, I'll give you a Reiki treatment and snap you up a bit.

Vegas

Was hoping to run into you at the tourney but Justin said you hadn't been around much. Next time for sure. More important that you take care of your health!

Hussa,

know exactly how you feel Eric. Take care of yourself- As time goes by you ll be perhaps able to master your life again without pain. Don t try to cheat the pain, really doesn t make sense. And like you told...friends can make it a little better, even just knowing that they re around you :-)

Don t let you tear down^^

The guy who missed you the most was probably Johnny. He always seems to do well when you're around. Hopefully you will be with him at HB this week.

Eric, know what your going through, I just had my 3rd back operation 4 weeks ago and I have not felt this good in 8 years since the first one. So hang in there, and maybe the doc will find your problem too. Maybe we'll meet up and play some the next time I'm here in Vegas and your feeling better, say for a bottle of Advil or some otc stuff..lol...JEFF

A reason for being there... a REAL reason... Someone else benefits from your energy.

Eric-

I will be back out in Vega$ in September. They are having a handball tournament on the parking lot of the Stratosphere. Should be interesting.

Make sure you have the battery charged in one of the Lambos for me by then.

You missed a great dinner. Nine is the best steakhouse in the country, IMO. So good that I went back a second time before I left.

Sorry we didn't get to hang out more, but at I least I got to SEE you that one time. :) Hope you get to feeling better soon and tell Kelly I will have to take her to dinner next time I am in Vegas as I ran out of time yet again this go-round. :(

We'll have to catch up on the next go around. I know we played phone tag all week, but understand the situation.

Feel better, Eric.
