My Thoughts on Earl and TAR 22

Dave alot of what is wrong with Earl is the crap that goes on around him. You see in golf the industry fully supports the pros regardless of the economy this industry supports the amateurs which is fine to a point but come on. I heard that a pro player was in prison for incest with their own grandchild but nothing on that but let Earl say something that he thinks that is right for what he has dedicated his entire life to and he is bashed or labeled and headline news. I know top 8 players involved in dumping matches at high level tournaments that people had high stakes on and they dumped. Earl never said anything because he was not only involved with it he was protecting them and now I am so tired of seeing him bashed when the other players are actually fooling the public and some of them are bashing him as well. Earl has never claimed to be perfect but neither are they. Like I said no-one wants me to write a book. Im in law school and what I've seen on here has clearly crossed some lines. The more I see and read the more I want the truth to come out.

The big dump? Everyone knows about that, its no secret.... No one covers it up here either.

The pro you speak of that is in prison for incest with his own grandchild? Get your facts straight before you open your trap..... He is in prison for molesting his neice. Sick sh!t either way. Guess what? Thats no secret here either... Everything gets aired here....

Since you're in a gossipping kind of mood, you know what I heard? The word on the streets is that Earl bank rolled you to get into real estate, you started doing well for yourself, then you left him. Coincidentally, thats about the time Earl started really going off the rails, and got broke to boot. How about you stop blaming az members and the site itself and take a real good look in the mirror. You sure your incessant need to defend his actions might be self serving?

This man speaks truth..Words...Powerful words I sayyyyy..

Possible presidential run in 2012?

First of all Earl is not "Crazy" as you put it and secondly, I do hope that as a business you will consider seeing this sport grow and that the players you do consider in the future will not "dump" matches as with the case as the "BIG DUMP" that was televised and quickly swept under the rug in Vegas. If I were a gambler and had money bet on a match I would hate to know that professional players were dumping matches and splitting the purse ... I will keep that televised event to myself for now hence, no-one wants me to write a book but Im not going to continue to let everyone else look like they are perfect and people bash Earl as the only bad guy.

WTF are you talking about? The big dump has been discussed repeatedly on here.

Oh sh*t, that's right! We are never supposed to talk about anything that goes on in the pool world except what is spinning around in your little head. Sorry, I forgot.

I think you hit something here I was around this for 15 years and the opportunity was great for Earl to play Shane and Earl does respect Shane. Earl however, after expenses came home with $500. You would think after traveling 800 miles regarless of losing it would have been higher than that my understanding they were invited to dinner "dutch". Exhibitions use to pay 1000 per day I know the economy is bad in saying that the pro golfers are not suffering and the industry supports them and keeps them on top.

Yeah, it is pretty sad that Earl actually has to win to make any real money. I mean, what is the world coming to???

Stop with the golf comparisons. Pool is not golf, is no where near golf, and may never be anywhere near golf.

Oh boy, can you please let the truth come out! Please please please?!?!?!? I mean, pool should be like golf, and you and your "truth" are sure gonna get those sponsors running our way!

And someone PLEASE explain to me how Vickery molesting his niece and pros dumping matches, has ANYTHING to do with Earl being a crazy ass nut job?

now thats funny... but it was real estate then law school...

If this is really Lisa, then we've been friends a long time. I'm sorry to inform you but you are in denial if you don't think that Earl has a mental illness. It isn't about what goes on around him. It's him! The problem lies within, not without. This is not about the opinions Earl expresses, it is about the way he acts DURING his matches. He is disrespectful of just about everything, his opponent, the equipment, the audience members, the commentary crew, EVERYTHING! Lisa, once again, Earl is not a well man and the sooner you understand that the sooner you can get him the help he so dearly needs. To deny this fact makes you an enabler. Sorry to have to tell you this, but it's true.

If you're tired of seeing Earl bashed, make sure he doesn't act like a child. It's one thing to be "fed up" as you put it, but you can still be fed-up and act like a total PROFESSIONAL. Earl acted like a 5 year old BASHING the cue ball into the table, SMASHING his cue into the table, cussing at the audience and overall showing his ass and behaving like a cry baby.

I'm straight-talking you right now so you unprogram your view on things and reprogram them to the actual state of affairs. Earl's behavior is SO out of line in regards to being a professional, the other pros don't want him on team events and other major events have to baby-sit him to make sure there isn't a major meltdown.

So, is everyone out of line and he's being wronged or maybe -- do you think-- he might be acting like a 4 year old and is driving the industry batshit?

I've been a huge Earl fan since I was a little kid and it's disheartening to see him have meltdowns like a child (literally, JUST like a child, "pouting" and all).

Don't blame the world and say Earl is in the right. The WORLD IS RIGHT, and Earl is in the wrong. Again, this coming from his #1 fan.

Dave

P.S. You should be HAPPY he came home with $500. If he gambled with his own cash, he'd come home (-$5000)+his appearance fee.

Tell'er SAW.

Good ol' Howard should be getting out soon if im not mistaken.

Earl is a nut job thats bad for pool and im glad he wont be on anymore TAR events.

I am a huge Earl fan. But I also understand as most do, that Earl
is insane. But if Earl acted differently I think he would play differently.
I think that's what drives him. Earl is Earl love him or hate him.
He has always been a loose cannon. So he went in to give up mode,
It cost him.
Want to surprise me...Tell me Earl didn't show his ass

Jay yes we have been friends a very very long time. I love you dearly.I was around this sport for a very long time and dedicated alot of my own life to it not as a player but as a players wife. I do not agree with what Earl does alot of the time but I understand his frustrations in the life long dedcation that he and all the other players have put their lives into this sport. To see it at the level that it is at is heart breaking. As you know I am no longer married to Earl that has never stopped me from caring about him and the passion he has for the game. I handle the attacks that people on this site spit out about Earl going down hill after me leaving whatever Im bigger than that. Most of all, I came to love this sport and the people in it. I am currently in law school and on the "President's List" therefore so much of my time is spent with that but I did tell Earl I would help him with whatever he needed and have spoken a small amount with CJ on a few things as well. It is very hard to sit back and listen to people bash someone you care about without lashing back. All I'm saying Jay is no-one is perfect myself included and perhaps I can help Earl which Im working on now I would appreciate some consideration in knowing that. I am doing this in hopes of giving him peace of mind and letting him do what he does best playing pool.

TAR has made it very clear publicly that hey will not tolerate any of the dumping crap. Justin has said he's already had enough offers of "hey, let's pretend we're playing for this, no one will ever know", and he was very clear Homey don't play that. Unless you want all 250 lbs of Justin all up in your grill.

What kind of business owner, after working from the ground up trying to eke out a living and creating a respected brand name, would throw all that away for a stupid chance to make a few bucks is almost tough to swallow that a person could be so stupid.

So for anyone that likes conspiracies or who like to write or grunt the word "dump" for any other reason then to describe a pleasurable activity that one can do sitting down, please do not use TAR in the same sentence of that. I know how people like to throw that word around on just about anything, but I think it's in really bad taste to do that to people or businesses that have made it very clear they would never tolerate that crap.

The vegas thing is no secret. There's plenty of information on it in these forums. Would you like to add anything that can help create a factual account of it? If the way I hear it is accurate, Earl did a very honorable thing in not being a part of it.

Good ol' Howard should be getting out soon if im not mistaken.

Drop the "Good".... I was friends with him but what he did was the sickest sh!t possible. He got 7 years and he's been in for 2 or so, not sure they would let him out that quick.
