If the "heat of the moment" has been going on for years and years, at what point is it OK to finally say f*ck it, let's try and give this guy what he deserves?
Being great at something doesn't make it OK to be an ass.
Earl has acted this way forever but this time it was supposed to be different! We all know how ugly it can get. Earl doesn't owe you anything. I'm thankful to be able to watch when he hits his high gear.

Cali...that's the best alibi I've ever heard.I'm sorry for the post above. A scraggly homeless man, just burst in on me, held a plastic fork to my neck and a broken Ole English 800 bottle to my "junk" and forced me to write all that. I told the lunatic that I don't normally write more then one sentence replies and that someone would surely notice and call the authorities to check on my well being.
He did not buy it and he pushed the submit button, not me. While I agree with everything I was forced to write, as my past posts have a history of showing, I would have said it in a lot less words.
So I apologize, I'm going to go change my shorts now
Earl was paid $1000 in cash at the end of TAR 22. I have his signature on a receipt if you would like to see it. He also was staked 60/40 his way in the $5000 set. This means if he doesnt just quit at 65-65 he could of won an extra $3000. With no risk of any money of his own.
If he came home with $500 its because he spent the other $500 I gave him on weed. Earl had no expenses at all except the food he ate and one cab ride to the airport. I paid for his airfare. I paid for his hotel.I picked him up from the airport. I let him borrow $40 when he got off the plane because he decided to travel across the country with no cash at all. I drove him to a pool room to look for someone to sell him a bag of weed because that was all he cared about as soon as he hit the ground.
The whole experience with Earl has pushed me all the way over the edge with so called pro players who can't tie their own shoes without someone there to help them. Earl was hired to do a job. He did it terribly. He b!tched nonstop for four days and it was overall a miserable experience for anyone who had to endure it all.
As for "dutch" dinner I have no idea what you are talking about. After four days with Earl you could not of paid me to have dinner with him let alone get me to pay for his.
I have always went out of my way to help players but I'm done with all that now. I will go above and beyond for those players who have a work ethic and understand the fact they are selling a product and carry themselves as such. Any player who thinks he should just get paid because he can run a few balls can starve as far as I'm concerned and the sooner the better so they stop spreading their poison.
As for comparing pool to golf...just stop.
The more I think about this weekend the madder I get. I get mad because I think of how hard a lot of people worked to do the event, how much money was risked to do it and how many people took time out to be a part of it. None of that matters to Earl. If he would of made $50,000 this weekend it wouldn't have been enough. Just one more reason I am glad I will never have to go through it again.
You're not the only one who could write a book.
I understand your point.....I just disagree about the extent.
Legitimate business criticism is fine and warranted.
But crossing the line into publicly tearing down Earl as a person it not. Hell, that line hasn't only been crossed, it's been destroyed. That is just plain wrong. And on top of that it's not helping anything.
I'd like to think you understand what I'm saying.
First, I have to say I am sure everyone worked hard players included. However, Earl was unable to get to the bank to get cash so that was a very unprofessional statement or remark for you to say . Secondly, stating his money was used for "weed" was uncalled for. I'm pretty sure professionalism could be questionable on your behalf as well.
The truth hurts.
Earl was smoking the funny and going off the air??? Might I suggest that he stay away from the mostly sativa street weed and try some couch lock indica? Any kush would be a good choice.....
