Narrowing the field down - winner announced this weekend!!

Dear All

Thank you all very much for your contributions and the effort you have put in to our "name the new club" contest. This is one of those situations where I wish I had half a dozen cues to give away because there were that many names that my partner and I really liked.
I am going to wind this up over the weekend and declare a winner. It may not be the exact name as submitted but it may be a club name that was either very close or provoked a thought with something very close and for me that is still a winning entry.

I have also gone right back to page one to make sure that the winner will be the person who was the first to submit their idea. Like most of you I would never have gone back to make sure my idea hadn't already been submitted so I think it only fair to award the cue to the one who provided the initial name or idea for a name.

Lastly if anyone ever ventures up to the frozen north either by choice or by chance and Toronto happens to be on your list of cities, please drop in and introduce yourself to either myself or my partner, John White and let us know you are an AZ supporter of our name the club contest. Your first beer is on us!!

The contest is winding down, I'd say a day or maybe two before I declare the winning submission so please get those last minute names in.

Thank you all again.

Safe, happy and healthy holidays to all!

Jimmy

How about, break n run sports club or pub
or nits and wits cue club, or on the hill cue club,
or ' you got the eight cue club', or hang the nine cue club

Name the club

Hey Jim,

Wishing u the best in this new adventure!

My suggestions:

Cue University
Cue U
U Cue
Student Union

Toronto Coliseum
Billiards & Sports Club

or

Billiards & Sports Entertainment

A small place should probably use a catchy and clever name. A large scale establishment needs a more dignified and stately name. With this name, the place would more than likely be referred to as "The Coliseum" in Toronto.

I wish you well in your new venture.
