The reason for wanted/for sale?
I've been a member of AZ for about four years now. I thought the section for buying and selling cues was for exactly that. I have had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with some great people. I buy and sell cues and try to treat people right. I don't care about Kevin Varney,I don't know if he is good or bad. I know he is getting more ink than Vinny,who started this thread and I WAS interested in his cue. Why does everyone give this man so much exposure when that is exactly what he wants? I wish i could have gotten more info. on the cue before drawing a conclusion.

Kevin's entire persona is a marketing scheme. That's why he offers to do so many things, like change someone's tip for free or whatever publicly: because he gets positive marketing out of it and increases his business.
Now, the person still gets a free tip and all, so in that respect it might not matter why he does it, but it does mean that Kevin is motivated solely by the money, so that if you're ever in a position where in his opinion dealing with you is not profitable to him, you will suddenly find yourself dealing with a very different person than the one you've come to believe he is.

Kevin nothing that is happening here is really about your cues, everything is about you dishonest behavior, your lies, and fraudulent business practices.
However, since you want to try and compete with my ability to build a cue I will help you out here.

Tell you what I'll do....I have a large group of my basic 4pt rosewood j/b's that are near complete. They are all going to the same man in Japan. I get $375 for these as fast as I can make them. Since you just bought a cue, I'll hook you up if you promise to: 1) never repeat this price or deal
2) swear you waited near 6 months
3) give me some good press here at AZB
If you hit my Paypal again tonight, I can reallocate one of those cues to you for $350 and I'll pay shipping. Since you just bought one cue, that'll give you a slight price break plus you skip the wait. I'll have these ready to ship within a couple weeks...they are ready to be cleared. If you want one then let me know what weight you'd like & I'll hand pick you a nice one. All have the brown phen collars.

1) It takes me 6 months minimum to build a simple cue, I do not rush things.
2) I do not sell any cues for less then $450 base price!!

Kevin this is a lie, I have lived in Korea, and visited Japan and China.
1) Asians do not buy poorly produced items, they only buy quality products. Sorry partner but your products do not stand up!! Maybe some day in the future. Oh and by the way, if you plan to sell cues in Asia, you best become very humble, because you current sales tactics would make most Asians run the other way.
