Subject: IPT Updates

Dear IPT players & all qualifier participants,

I am writing this to all IPT players, and every player who participated in a
2007 Tour Card Qualifying Tournament. Here are the updates relating to the
IPT 2007 Season and the IPT's future:

. We are still working on the merger/acquisition with Ho Interactive as well
as the option of taking the IPT public independently. These negotiations and
details are going rather slow but still look encouraging.

. We are still actively pursuing major sponsorship packages for the 2007
season. Great progress has been made although nothing is definitive as of
yet.

. We anticipate announcing the 2007 season schedule by March 1st. The
schedule may be smaller than we had hoped.

. We are on schedule for paying the players for the 2006 World Open. We
anticipate getting all players paid in full within the first quarter of
2007.

. If the IPT is not capable of fulfilling the 2007 season schedule as we had
previously announced, the IPT will refund the $2000 entry fee to every
single player who entered a qualifying tournament for a 2007 Tour Card! By
March 1st, we should know what the 2007 season schedule will be.

As you all know, I love pool. The IPT is meant to be a tour where the
players are put first. I want the IPT to have tournaments each and every
year and grow. Most importantly I want to make sure that the players are
always put first. If the IPT struggles, I will personally continue to lose
money. However, the players will never lose a single penny even if the IPT
fails. This is why if we cannot meet the expectations for the 2007 season,
we will refund the entry fees for every player who entered a 2007 Tour Card
qualifier. Obviously, players entered the qualifier based on the potential
winnings and monetary guarantees mentioned for 2007 Tour Card holders. If
these cannot be fulfilled we will make sure that the entry fees will be
refunded in full. In any other business, such as the airlines, this would
not happen. The business would simply file for bankruptcy and have no legal
obligation to pay back anyone. However, I love pool and I love pool players!
I will never allow pool players to take a financial hit. I hope that you can
appreciate my efforts and commitment to the IPT and to you the players.

It appears that the IPT will continue with tournaments although the schedule
may be smaller than we initially forecasted. We all agree that the most
important thing is that the IPT continue in some fashion or another. During
this holiday season, be thankful for all that has been accomplished this
year and be hopeful for all the great things that we will accomplish in the
future.

Happy holidays to all,

That professional writer must be gone. That's for sure. Its a stretch to call it elementary school writing.

Other than that, it doesn't sound good to say the least,
especially if one assumes he putting his best foot forward.

doesn't look good

Of all the letters, this is the one that seems to portend what many have predicted....if you read between the lines, it is not a good letter....it doesn't even bother to pretend or promise anything anymore.....just a whole lotta nothin' ....

and also...

and also, that famous Ho deal that was "finalized" so many times already is still in the works....lol....

If it weren't my bedtime, I could easily pick apart damn near the whole thing. I might do that at a later time but since I have to go into work early tomorrow, I'll at least say this...

Too late KT. The day you didn't pay, just short of four months ago, you caused A LOT of players to take a financial hit. The fact that you don't see this just proves how blinded you are to the real world. People took time off from work (some unpaid instead of vacation because they were "getting paid" for that week). The foreign players spent thousands to travel over here and then pay for a weeks worth of hotels, transportation and food. Some players couldn't afford to go to other tournaments like the Open because they didn't have the money.... they had earmarked the Reno money to pay their entry fee and travel expenses...

LMAO, but you'll "never allow pool players to take a financial hit".

While I certainly can't state this as a fact, I can state that it is "my opinion" that KT is a POS.

I literally laughed out loud when I read the part about the "Ho deal". He must've quit reading the forums because we've already outed the fake deal. There are a few of us that have gotten confirmation of this from different sources... all of them coming from people in Ho's camp. I believe the words were "Kevin, who? The IPT what?"

This is all nothing short of a farce.

I thought it was the best letter so far, because it sounded truthful. He said things were going slow, and the schedule might be smaller than anticipated. To me, it shows that he might be done with the bull, and just give us the truth, whether good or bad.

Paid in full?

Don't have the time to comment on the entire content of this latest letter from KT, but the underscored sentence stands out as being extremely inconsistant and strange.

At the rate of 11% per payment, per month, and providing that payments are on time and monthly, there should be another payment in January, February and March.

Those three additional 11% payments, plus the first and second payments of 11% would total five payments of 11% each for a total payment of 55%of what is due to each player. That is not my understanding of "paid in full" means.

Or am I being to picky?

I agree Jim..... bit he did not specify how much he was going to be paying each month after the first 3 11% checks were paid....hopefully for the sake of the players they all do get paid in full. And then maybe KT can pull a rabbit out of his hat and maybe continue by having smaller added money events. Like someone already said. If only he had started with smaller purses. maybe like 250000 or so it would still be going strong...but who knows what he was originally thinking....................mike

I think that at the end, he intends to make a 'balloon' payment.

Everyone will have their own interpretation. It is hard for me to look at this optimisticly and or to come away with one degree of excitement.

He claims the Ho Interactive merger is going slowly? One thing that might help speed things up would be to get someone to introduce him to Dr Ho or someone at the Ho Camp. The only thing that leads me to believe that KT is a total liar about the Ho Merger was Ho"s response when asked about the Ho/IPT merger. I believe Ho responded with, "what is IPT"?

I will hand it to KT for one thing though, he doesn't cop to anything, you have to beat it out of him. Jay IMO, is 100% correct. KT with every utteramce is trying to avoid jail. The way things are going, it is going to work for him too. Too bad too. Watching him on a witness stand would be fun.

KT, please just pay up and go away.

And it looks like he will succeed... Fewer people visit this forum each day, fewer people talk about the IPT.

Nice one....:D

Hi fellows,

at lot of seem to know that the so called HO deal never even took place, nor that Mr. Ho even knows KT or the IPT. Does anyone of you have solid proof ? Is there some official statement from HO Interactive availlable?? (Not that I believe that this deal is actually on at all) It would be nice to have some real proof rather then " I've heard this from a friend , who has friend and his nephew knows ....etc)

Regards,

Markus

No, I don't have proof other than what was reported from Eydie and Nyc Cue Dude. Their information satisfies me.

I think its funny that any smart business man would do what KT did in the first place.I would not invest millions into the sport of pool to make money,if i was doing it for the love of the the game knowing i wouldnt make a profit and would be taking a loss then.I believe KT thought all the big purses would attract people to the sport on tv,i mean people playing poker for big money is fun to watch but pool for big money while it interest us doesnt really make ot public want to watch because unlike pool, poker can be played by anyone with little or no skill.I dont care if ping pong was played for a billion dollars,i still wouldnt watch.I think KT will cut his losses and the players will get paid slowly, there is no money to be made the way he is doing it so he is out.

give the guy a break! he is paying us,and that says a lot,if he really didn't care, like we first suspected, he would be in mexico with hookers and fine cigars, but he IS paying us,and stated, 2007 will be shrunk down, this is good enough for me. it's time to stop knocking him, being an ipt player i should be pissed but what for now? he IS PAYING! i repeat he IS paying, and he will refund anyone who put up 2 grand if it folds, this was put in writing,in his recent letter, anyhow, for the people who didn't get on the ipt the first round through (2006) you feel good throwing stones, but it looks as if the ipt is coming down to earth, they are paying and the "show must go on" now is the time to show your love for pool and hope and pray that the ipt makes it, without talking out of both sides of your mouth. the only reason why i type this letter is this~~~~~~ the man is paying us. plain and true,no bull,no excuses ,no more running and hiding, and being shut out of interviews and keeping undercover,NO! kevin trudeau is paying the ipt players,he bit off more than he could chew, admitted it, and is now making good on a big ugly mess, but now, we are faced with this~~~ HE IS PAYING,and WILL pay the entire world open amount. happy holidays.
