Please go to www.ultimate10ball.com and read the dress code. All men will be required to wear a vest. Do not show up there and act surprised. This promoter wants to have a professional event and he expects the players to dress the part. Be prepared.

do you also have to check your ass weights & Major tom head gear at the door????

I think that is absurd. I can understand wearing appropriate attire but a vest in this day and age. That wont help pool. Look how poker players dress. Some like crap but there making a fortune.
Pool needs personalities not vests.

I went and checked out the venue Monday. The entire center and Hotel is beautiful!

The dress code will be fitting and it will certainly be an event you will remember.

BigTruck puts on a first class show, I'm really looking forward to watching this event.

On another note...
Wearing a vest to look "professional" is a pretty old school.
I really wish players were wearing polos plastered in sponsor logos!

Maybe someday.

I agree on the sponsor patches.

JR Calvert with Inside Pool will also be there streaming. We have plenty of dedicated bandwidth and you will be able to watch both streams at he same time!!!

The Ultimate 10 Ball folks have some BIG plans that WE as the pool community should get behind!

Check it out!

Be sure and scroll down on the page when you get there. Sweeeeeeeeeet!

The chat for both shows will be there when we are done.

A vest.. lol

I think a long sleeve polo should be acceptable, like someone already said.. that's pretty old school.

OH dear GOD the world is coming to an end, pool players can't wear pants down to there knees and tee shirts.

It's about time someone bring pool back to its roots and make people look professional.
To bad you can't polish a turd.

I will have a limited number of Affliction Vests for sale at the event.

JK

I think this will be a very special event!

I think the over/under of players who say Oh I didn't know is about 10.
I would have to take the over.

i think looking professional is important but a vest is dumb. Professional golfers make millions a year and they wear dress pants and a polo. This would be very professional for sports attire. jmho

Was this dress code part of the deal from the start of taking entries? If it was not there may be a problem. Johnnyt

Funny to see so many people against a vest. While they might not be as classy as my avatar, I do think a vest adds a certain touch of class to an event. :)

Don't think of it as a vest, think of it being your chalk holder !!!

I used to have a few sweater vests for that purpose, back in the day !

I don't really see an issue in wearing a vest, except that I don'T have one and have never played in one.

Also player FYI, you must stay at the host hotel.

It required the vest last year when this tournament was taken place in Aruba...

I don't see the big deal. Just follow the rules, it's not going to kill ya to add one more wardrobe to your (professional) tournament attire...

I've got a leather motorcycle vest with the colors of my riding group sewn on the back. It also has all the patches sewn all over it and has the little chain button extenders and riding pins and all. If anybody wants to borrow it, I can bring it on Thursday. I mean, after all, it IS a vest :o:D:D:D!!!

If I was an enterprising kind of person, I'd be right there on site with a vendor booth selling vests.
