1) Almost every man commented on her appearance, and not always respectfully, if you catch my drift.
2) Almost every female strongly critiqued her wardrobe (she was overdressed, who wears high heels to a pool event, etc.).
3) Almost everyone was critical of her quality of play.
4) I found it interesting how a beautiful woman can spark so much discussion and reaction.
1) Men are visual creatures by nature.
2) Women are fiercely competitive in mate selection.
3) I'm only critical of exactly what she's been taught over 4 years. Obviously there's been quite a bit of work on laying safeties, but after 4 hours of instruction you should be able to do that. I think she's horribly misrepresented.
4) Put a girl like that in a room with a bunch of hormones and see how many lewd comments / stares she gets. Add on top of that what Dora has been trying to show, that she's horribly represented by her "coach" (there's a reason for the quotes). I'm surprised she didn't break down. You could see an expression that wasn't happy and bubbly after some of her misses. I felt bad for her, and not because of her playing ability.
If those who mentioned having spouses that have to suffer the same are truthful, then they already know how hard it is for them to never get a break from the constant attention. I'd be surprised if Shanelle doesn't have serious trust issues.
