old guys wearing hustlin usa gear?

Only the Question is STRANGE

IMO
I guess you meant to say. "anyone older than me, wearing a Hustlin USA shirt just takes away from the 'cool shirt' rating"

That is my perception of your question and that is kinda 'STRANGE'.

IF this is not what you meant, why ask the question, or at the very least, explain what you meant by the 'STRANGE' comment."

Did you learn anything from asking your question?

anyone else think it's strange to see old guys wearing hustlin usa gear. i saw an old guy at hard times sporting a hustlin usa t shirt and it really looked weird.

what do you guys think?

really, you think that's what i was getting at when i started this thread?

i guess guys get sensitive as they get older because i didn't say anything like that when i opened this thread.

PP,

A lot of what's typed is ha-ha orientated or tongue in cat and, like the results of the majority of your key strokes, intended to illicet a responce.

Once you wrap your mind around that concept your AZ experience will become complete:smile:

When I first read your initial post I was also somewhat irritated, since I am a 69 year old player, a regular at Hard Times, Sacramento and often wear Hustlin USA shirts. Maybe a simple explanation is better than a smart ass critique of your post and here it is.

I started wearing them at the Derby this year. They are possibly the most comfortable shirt you can wear when playing pool for an extended period of time. They look as good as anything else I can find to wear that is pool related and the owner is a regular at Hard Times and I am buying from a local businessman who supports pool.

I will be at the tournament tomorrow wearing My Hustlin USA shirt and most of the young guns there will have their hands full if they draw me no matter what shirt I wear. John Henderson

He's just a kid John, he doesn't know. I had to laugh at a tournament about a year ago when I beat a young guy and he told me "Man, you ran over me. I never thought I would lose to YOU".

What's really funny to me is the brash young guys who become marks for the true hustlers. A veteran player can spend 30 minutes in a pool hall and these guys stand out like a sore thumb.

Why are you so angry man? all i said was that i thought it looked strange. i didn't even come close to implying that they shouldn't be wearing it so that "constitutional right" comment is taking things a little too far.

get your head straight old man. it wasn't an insult

everyone needs to calm down. it was a harmless question/opinion.

If you keep calling people "old man", you are just going to make them even more angry than ever. :D:D:D

Haven't read the whole thread, but, as I'll be 60 next month, I'd like to know just where the hell you're going with this. With a bit of luck, you'll be an old guy too, before you know it. Just what makes you think it's weird or whatever??

***Pretty soon you can all be wearing AZB gear!!!****

Old is in the eye of the beholder.
A 5 yr old thinks 25 is old. What about a 15yr thinking 35 is old, 25 thinking 45 is old, etc? Let's face it we're all as old as we feel we are.

This thread was about perception and not degrading. Just asking opinion. Poolplayers been on here for a long time and I don't think he was rousting everyone up for fun, just chit chatting. Yall took ONE word and made this a bad thread. Shameful.

Gee ....I'd think it strange to see a 10yr old in a Grateful Dead Tshirt or AC/DC. (BUT HEY! that's my opinion!) Lighten up.

Stop venting and put your money where your mouth is...get out there and shoot pool!! :D

*****Still have a lot of Hustlin gear **** yes even girly stuff (small girly stuff) ...can't get my fat ... in it. haha:p
Tony is a great guy and I think he's got a great product.

I didn't realize we "old folks" looked bad in a clean, nice set of clothes. I'll have to rid of the stuff I have. Where can I get some baggy jeans that hang down below my butt. Then I'll get me some of those koool tatoos. All over my arms and neck. How about my hat on sideways. Maybe a nose ring or two. I wonder if I can get my wife to have her nipples pearced.
Yep me sure do look silly don't we?

Well, I am definitely OLD by your definition ... I shot in an Action Pistol Competition for 5 hours today in 110 degree weather and NO shade structures ... Believe me, I felt plenty OLD (at 67) after that Match ...

BTW: I occasionally wear a Hustlin' Shirt from the Reno Bar Table Championships last March ... I think it is very Cool

The Ghost Is Chill

I'm one of the 'older' guys too.....But I'm surprised at how many of the older guys are getting their boxers all in a bunch over what this kid said - from the response you'd think he said all old guys should die or something.....So he thinks certain clothes look 'weird' (his word) on us 'old guys' - so what, big deal - and we sure as hell think his generation wearing pants halfway down their azz and sideways baseball caps is stupid, so were even....

I always try to make sure to objectively see things from all sides....that said, back in 1969 when I was wearing velvet bell bottom pants and a giganto-collared flowered shirt....if I saw an 'old guy' wearing that same outfit that I was wearing, I would have said to myself...."Man, that looks fukked up" (and I don't mean in a good way, lol).

Geez- you wanna see "weird"? I work in an office that has a view of the pool and beach, and I gotta see old, fat guys running around in banana hammocks all day (not to mention quite a few woman straining the limits of their bikinis, and NOT in a good way:p)- I WISH they were wearing Hustlin' shirts (or any shirts, for that matter.

Thank goodness there's still loads of 'eye candy' roaming around for some relief.

I just thought you guys would enjoy this. I just got back to work and over the weekend I had a t-shirt printed up. Should get it this week.

"Hello, I'm over 40 and can give you the eight."

On the back:

"Sorry, I didn't mean to offend the youngsters."

This might stir up some action in a bad way (I might not like it), but I'll be careful where I wear it.

what do you guys think?

What is old? I'm 38 and writing this while wearing a Hustlin' usa black hoodie. Do I have to stop wearing it when I turn 40?

Seems like the "old guys" around here are really wound up tight...
Take it easy there fellas..... wouldnt want any of you to have a heart attack :D

The above post was made under the context of pure humor.. dont take it to heart..

Smoke <-- dosent want to be blamed for any deaths

I Saw an older man wearing one as well, and the funny thing is that the most i have ever seen play for was a cup of coffee. and the coffee was free anyways !!!!!

LOL
Steve

you ain't seen weird . . .

I actually think all clothes look weird on you old geezers!;)

You ain't seen weird until we take them off!

Judging by where some things have relocated to this new tattooed generation is gonna be a hell of a lot weirder looking in a couple of decades though. :D :D :D
