One-Word Thread

Gotta do one more, jam...

What an interesting thread but what I can't understand are the negative words posted. If you don't like the game stay away from it. Pool isn't brain surgery. Nobody has to have it. The criticizms over something that's so enjoyable are like putting out then yelling rape. True, there are some players who depend on the sport for a living but, even they volunteered for the gig. I know of what I speak in that department.

So, man up, guys. Woman up girls. Break the balls and PLAY pool.
Keep it fun. Alfie

Hey! "play" isn't a bad word to enter.

Apathetic:
This is a word that describes not anybody on here but the society outside the square box we play on, I LOVE this game, and know that everyone on this board does also. That said, it is hard for
society to show interest in it, to get new blood and keep it, airtime on TV, updates on ESPN, and such would do so much more for the game we love.

a few more that could have stood alone

These are handy because they are all ten letters so they don't require symbols:
endangered
everything
irrelevant
ostensible
regenerate
voluminous
cornflakes

OK, I ain't sure what cornflakes has to do with pool but it is one of the old code words used by retailers, ten letters with no repeats. Easier to haggle if you know what somebody paid for something! Anytime I see coded items in a retailers I start looking for items I can fairly easily guess the rough wholesale cost of. Not too hard to crack codes if you know the first few letters and that the word will almost certainly be between ten and twelve letters long.
