I couldn't even guess
I rember when those things were under $500. There value was the way they played and they played straight best. If someone sees that cue that had fond memories of those cues the price could approach the sky if there is one or two others like them out there and they battle with their wallets!
$9000.00 over
$30,000.00 under only because one of the shafts looks to have been shortened probably to play 3 cushion billiards.

Want to thank everyone for the great turnout and making this happen. Thought this would be fun and wasn't sure if anyone would play. Now I know for a couple of pigskin tips, you guys are like pirhannas after a goat! Man! I am afraid of what any one of you might do to me for a couple Franklins on a 9 footer.
I will be listing everyones entries this morning at the start of this post for record and we'll just have to wait out out the auction to see how it all plays out.

this is a tough one. it is only orth what someone is willing to pay for it. i would say the final price is 26352.51.
Provenance?
Provenance in the world of art and antiques is generally taken to mean the proven history and ownership of an article. Even if the photos do exist what do they prove other than Gus and Miz held the stick for a picture? The seller claims Mosconi used this cue, IMHO for that claim to substantiate value, it would need to be proven. Otherwise, it's just talk and we all know the value of that.
