Pepsi Contact Information....

hmmm.... what to do? I don't know how my fingers are going to type in P * & S I. I may have to have someone else do it for me.

You see, I'm a Coke addict. There, I said it. I don't like to air my problems online, but I am a raving addict of the red can. I get sick to my stomach, when I am eating somewhere and I order a Coke, and hear the words, "sorry sir, we don't have Coke, we have P & * S I.

But my love for pool is strong, so I will get them thanks for supporting pool, I just would be doing it while drinking Coke:D

And if Coke ever dicks around with their recipe again, like that New Coke, I"m going to treatment and will learn to drink P & * S to get back at them.

Email sent.

I am also a Coke guy, but other members of my family drink enough Pepsi products to more than make up for that!

This was a fantastic idea. Keep it going folks, show Pepsi your appreciation for their participation. Only takes a minute to shoot off that email...

Thank you for contacting Pepsi. Your email has been delivered.

I'm in!!! I will be passing this along via contact list, facebook, & twitter

Can someone point out a link that verifies that Pepsi is sponsoring the U.S. Open? I'm a trust but verify kind of guy.

Where did this news come from?

There's so much that can be done with the marketing in this sport. How about the Pespi 10-Ball Open. The 10 ball could be painted like the Pepsi Logo. Just thinking out loud or as Renfro said - just an observation, not a suggestion.

Thanks for posting the contact information. Only took a minute or two to send them a thank you for the sponsorship. "This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship."

I wonder if Barry would be so kind as to tell us how big a sponsor Pepsi is? Not looking for how much $$$ they are putting up, but are they a major sponsor for the US Open? Johnnyt

I think it would be a mistake for anyone other than Pepsi to disclose the $value of the arrangement.

Might be viewed as peacocking. Can't have that.

Thanks for the link

Glad to see a prime sponsor looking at pool. Pepsi is what I drink when competing.

in some ways it doesn't matter

If it is corporate Pepsi and not just a local bottler it doesn't matter how much or how little they are dropping this time. What matters is that they see that they are reaching a market doing it. They have millions to spend so even if it is very little now showing them that it is effective marketing can help open their purse strings a little more.

It was said that this is a multi-year long term committment. Generally speaking these long term deals are for more than supplying a little product and banners. I suspect a moderate but not huge deal. Pure speculation on my part but based on a little past experience with major sponsors getting their toes wet in a new deal it is more likely to be in tens of thousands than anything else, would be fantastic and a little surprising if it topped $100k. It doesn't really matter what it is, it is a first step by a major outside sponsor. Another thing, Pepsi is a clean sponsor with no negative baggage of their own.

We need to bend over backwards to treat them right and hopefully they and other potential sponsors will notice.

Mine is sent. I am a big Pepsi fan, and have been since I was a kid. No matter how big a deal they made, it's great to see.

Heck, I'd wear Depends if Depends sponsored a pool tournament. :D

Well, on second thought, maybe not. :embarrassed2:

think of the attention it would get

Think of the attention it would get if half the spectators were wearing Depends on the outside of their clothes! Guaranteed Depends would notice.

So, is it a local bottler or corporate?

Note to AZB, I would think that Pepsi would like to have their current brand logo on the site announcement, not the retro logo.
