Yeah, heard about it. It happened at Lakewood Park. Lemme tellya bout that place. 20 some years ago a dude came into Manchester, and bought some land in Beech Grove stoooopid cheap. Like $30/acre. He plotted the place out and sold lots. He built a gate (it was supposed to be a gated retirement community), and dug a giant hole for a "beautiful lake" in the middle. Then after he sold the lots, and took gobs of money for home building, he took off, never to be seen again. Today, all the roads in the 'community' are gravel, and the folks who bought the lots, sold them for peanuts after they got ripped off. Only 1/2 the place even has electricity or plumbing. Guess what giant hole the sewage goes into? Smells great there in the summer. It is all trailers and retired alchoholics, or people on disability, working for cash and soaking the system. There is a small grocery and 2 bars in the community.
If this guy even KNEW about this place, he was pretty f---ing scummy......Lakewood Park is in Beech Grove which literally is in the middle of nowhere. B.G. has a population of about 1500. Hardly a even a fork in the road.
