dont forget about me I like being #2. :)


I have a whole lot to say right now-to a very few cowards(2) however I will refrain as i will turn the other cheek-and no this aint about rep. So to my REP friends this dosent apply these 2 guys never repped me(among lots of others and I still made it) and I still passed Smorg, Smorg never repped me either and that was his choice, I awalys rep who is below me as I never protect my position. I got to #1 held it for a week. I ONLY stepped down b/c I gave my word not b/c of threads about me etc. I do what I say, not what others want or pressure me to do, infact I was inclined to stay higher but for Doug and my word I steped down. thiose lame threds about "its about time" yeah sure i'm gonna cave in on that peer pressure, LOL i never caved in for anyone ever in LIFE-thats why I was #1, made $$$$ and successful. I'm not a sheep. I appericate your all thinking of Doug-did you ever think of asking me privatly except one of you-only one person did. i said i would so now i am-on my time.


the 2 people i have exception with dodge phone calls and emails(but sure dont offer to pick up the check at breakfast-like i was suprised) you know just who you are shame, (dont out yourselfs on this thread or are you to weak not to post) i really though more of both of you, but everyones true colors come out in time. cowards both of you-dare you to post in this thread. I feel bad b/c I mis-judged both of ya's. But it didnt cost me but $20 so I got off cheap, as learning about others has cost me more than you too have ever made together(and your both old-LOL) pity.

To the other 10,000+ AZ members i'm proud to call you all friends and your invited to my house, watch any pool I promote-and even play me(lol thats a easy win). I thank you all for everything I'm going to keep doing what I do here, I hope you like what i write and I make you smile. I too will miss Doug I hope thats along time and he had a bad when he wrote that note-I dont know. I do my best to be a assett to AZ and refrain from negititave posts like this but this is about my 3rd in 6000+

thanks Mike Howerton for the upgrards and Mr. Wilson for moving this at the right time-i just needed lots of views for Doug thats all. its with his interest in mind.

Eric from wat i've seen on here you've always been a man of your word and you're never afraid to say how u feel. I dont know u but i respect you.
 
This is no knock on you Fatboy or anyone else but I wish they would eliminate the rep feature from this site. It is broken and IMHO meaningless. I see far too many people with a dozen posts to their credit and they have a full compliment of greenies. A "reputation beyond repute" after a handful of posts??
Back when this rep stuff first began it took a long time to reach this status, now create an account and "poof" you have a rep beyond repute.

As far as Smorg goes he's always going to be #1 in my book and all the rest of us are in his shadow regardless of what these rep ratings say.

Off topic. Is there a way to increase they size of the type so it's more readable? I"m having problems reading some/most of the posts.

Please save the remarks about new glasses etc. :groucho: Just tell me how to make the type bigger.

A blatant lie as we both know. You never were a blip on the rep chart until you played on Doug's sympathies to get into the top five. As for rep not being a game to you, you repped me regularly for good posts before I told you many months ago that I wouldn't aid you in your manipulations to unseat Doug. You have never repped me once since. Yet another false statement on your part.

How many times did you claim on this forum and in private communications that you only wanted to be in #1 long enough for a screen shot and then you would give it back to Doug? How many times did you say that in just your many PM's to Doug begging him to let you be #1? Your word wasn't that you would hold it a week, but revising history is a standard procedure of yours and your word means nothing, especially not to you. Your entire drive to #1 was based on falsehoods and cheap con's.

Actually you made #1 by working with a consortium of people manipulating the rep rankings after Doug was too ill to post. Had Doug continued posting it is doubtful you would have ever reached #1 even with all of your game playing and doing the very things you accuse Doug of.

Since I never have eaten breakfast with you and never will, I have to say that with friends like you I will never need enemies. No friend speaks to me the way you have. Of course I am not friends with any individuals as totally lacking in class as you are. Every post, even the ones expressing hypocritical sorrow about Doug, you must gloat about achieving #1 while he was on his death bed. Only you could be so petty and small as to see that as a huge accomplishment.

Through out this whole post, and most definitely through the bolded words I had to remind myself that I'm reading the musings of an adult, because it's all so juvenile.

As adults with jobs, bills, tough economy, kids, etc, etc, this juvenile pettiness about a warped & skewed rep system is all some of you can think about?

All of this is insanely ridiculous. I enjoy the kudos & the negative comments and I would like to see that part of the program/software stay intact but I would love to see the points done away with.
 
Let me explain for ALL of you about REP. Rep is the driving force behind the traffic numbers here on AZ. There are at least 100 people who, everyday, religiously rep 10 others so they can move up in the rankings. For all I know, it may be 300 people in the game. But it is a game, a game that secretly helps this site achieve it's status as the #1 pool site on the net. If REP was taken away like some suggest, a great idea in my opinion, hits would drop significantly. Maybe not so much as to dethrone AZ BILLIARDS from the #1 spot, but enough to have a noticeable effect in visitation. So, when you spend your 15 minutes a day giving REP, remember, you are doing it for AZ, and should not let anyone try and belittle you into thinking their REP motives are any different that anyone Else's. It's all a game, but you just didn't know you were being played as well.

I hear ya brother! In my 20+ years on Usenet/Forums, I have never witnessed this infatuation with little green thingie's and how they somehow link to a a person's importance and self-worth.

But you have to admit, while having feelings of sadness for the human race, you probably still get some laughs out of it, Right?:grin:
