Welcome Buffthestuff. Az is a great place and is a slice of life itself. Everything you want to know about pool and a few things you don't! LOL. The search function is a great thing and it only took me a few months to figure that one out. My son lives in Baton Rouge and I will make a stop to your place next time I come. Do you have any cajun type food in your place or is there a good eating place nearby? I eat when I come to Louisiana.
I think live streaming is going to give pool a shot in the arm so I hope you consider this technology in your room someday. How about a history of your place and how did you survive the hurricane.

It just seems so "odd" to see people talking to someone who didn't even post anything in this thread. In fact this Buffthestuff guy has been a member for over 2 years but just made his 1st post yesterday.:smile:

I go back to my original thoughts.. have buffthestuff make a post HIMSELF and let us talk to HIM.

Welcome MR.BUFF as you will find out here there is a lot of very good info available here at azbilliards,i find it almost as good as being in the pool room,but as you know MR BUFF nothings as good as the real thing,glad you decided to join in,have a great day!

I don't know when Buffalo does little things like sleep. I find him at his pool hall from early morning to late night. When he is there he is a nonstop blur working to keep things spinning as perfectly as possible in the place too, he isn't a sit around owner. I always note that he works a lot harder than the people he hires. Not that they don't do their jobs, he just does a lot more.

While he participates a little in a slow moving local forum or two stirring action or talking about tournaments I doubt he will ever be a chatty poster on AZB, it would take away too much time from his hall. I suspect friends and customers persuaded him to sign up originally and may be encouraging him to read and post. I can't see it happening.

Well for the most part i usually post my pool room related stuff on the nola site figuring that it's in my best interest to play to a more local audience. But lately that site has less and less traffic so i have decided to join the fun on AZ....Thank's everyone for the sort of warm welcome. Lock and Load is a great guy, will do anything for ya...and brings good food to the pool room everyday...but he gets carried away a bit. But we love the guy so that all that matters. People tend to talk good about me but ...we have 2 free tournaments a week,---we buy pizzas and pasta for the house during Saints games, i stake players , i loan to most everyone and have a tab sheet that is humongous..Sure they love me . I am a big sucker.... We had some nice action last night ....Dippy Dave showed up late after thrashing Mike Black in Baton Rouge to the tune of about 7000.---But we had action without him... Randy W was playing a 2000 set with grumpy gettin the 8...Grumpy won that....Then they played another started at 4000 but made its way up to 10000.----Randy win that. Theres talk of another later on.-------Dippy Dave was great to have around. He was here about a week....gave plenty of action won about 25000 between here at Baton Rouge. Hes great for the house.. Everyone comes out...he doesn't care about how much he spends , tips well and is pretty sharp. WE haven't that much fun in a while.... that's enough for now . Thanks
