1970's JossWest. Took me a long time to settle on a cue. Playability and looks, this is it for me.

This is my Dave Jones cue. This cue has an incredible feel to it, one of the most crisp, solid hitting cues I have ever picked up. All the inlays are ivory along with the joint and ferrules. The handle is Thuya Burl and and the points and butt are ebony. This cue is shown in the color section of the third edition of the Blue Book of Cues. The Blue Book picture shows my cue along with a couple others Dave recently finished that will also be in the Blue Book.

what is the green cue, and what is it made of. that is very unique and beautiful.

Thanks Ken. It is the best hitting cue I've ever played with. It came with 3 shafts but only one was original. That shaft is old dark wood. It's 21 ounces but it feels light.
I'm a sucker for the 70's JW.

my new magic wand ;)

Forearm + Butt are made from European Quilted Maple and the Handle is Maccassar Ebony, as much as the Buttcap and Rings
The less intense Quilted Maple was wanted this way. The cue was made by a German Cuemaker from Stuttgart, Sven Schmidt.

I have this one for sale on E-bay.

The very slight warping shouldn't affect play.

Hey Joe...yeah I'm still playing with it, and have two more shafts coming for it. Life isn't bad. Haven't been down to Ryan's lately, but I am going tonight. You get all settled in?
