Pray for him, God bless!
i called his nurses' station tonight and left a message for him:
"your new avatar is going to be a pink Ferrari...."
i had a text in 2 minutes from him.
he said he's getting a bit better each day, but still a long way to go. he will try to check in here tomorrow! i told him about all of the love, and that PT109 has lost his ability to be literal; Allen Brown is a wreck; and NPR is talking behind his back (so nothing's really changed there).
so i have to crack his password tonight, and then edit for his new avatar:

My condition has improved a bit, but I have

I am of the belief that when a man is facing great difficulty and challenge and is told his ferrari may be painted pink, he can rise above it all.

Wish I had thought to threaten to paint the ferrari pink. Not only do I have the means, but somewhere around here. I have your address. If pink doesn't scare you enough to get better. I have a few gallons Gaurdsman Blue(65 Shelby team color) the blue may give it a few mph on the top end!

Well it was nice that Howard answered the phone when I called.
He didn't sound that good, but I did get a little laugh out of him.
His condition, well he is still in ICU and he didn't comment much about his health.
He said he really hasn't improved much, he said maybe a little.
I ask if I could do anything, he said yes pray for me.
Thank everyone for your support.
