Prayers needed for Terry Ardeno

Terry, I'll be thinking of you and pulling for you dude. Hope you get better soon. We all hope to hear from you here, your contributions are always appreciated.

And ShootingArts, thanks for letting us know.

Hu,

Any way we can get the name of his hospital? At my Mom's hospital, friends and family can send e-cards through the hospital website. I'd love to be able to send him a nice note that way.

He is in my thoughts and prayers right now. I know how tough it is to be in the hospital for so long and please pass on we are all thinking of him and wanting him home soon, where he belongs!

Thank you so much for posting this, Hu.

Thanks for the update, Hu. I've noticed that he hasn't been around lately.

I actually just sent a rep to him last night, asking if everything was OK.

Terry, I hope you get back on your feet soon. We miss your input.

I have hesitated to post this but...

Hu,

Thanks for posting this. If you are in contact with Terry, please tell him we will keep him in our prayers. Infection is so tough to get over, sometimes.

God bless you for caring and letting us know.

I didn't ask for contact information

Terry is going through an extremely rough time and I'm not contacting him myself. Being Terry he will tire himself talking if we call him so I didn't even ask which hospital he is in, just asked him to call when he felt up to it. They finally gave him enough stuff to knock him out and get some sleep. He said he had been awake 52 hours straight until they did that.

I don't think he can access e-mail or anything right now even through the hospital. He has the circulation sleeves on both legs and two drips going into him so any shifting of position is with difficulty and requires assistance. He requested that local friends and family stay away from the hospital for the first few days, he is saving his strength for fighting his battles.

I haven't given this any thought but if we want to we could probably get a balloon bouquet or something sent to his room. Maybe we should get one sent to his room with a big ol' teddy bear, that's pretty much what Terry is.

Any other thoughts? I didn't intend this thread to be about anything but prayer but something in his room to remind Terry of AZB might be nice. If people are interested I'll put the first twenty in the pot.

I'm in for $20.

I'm not the most religious guy in the world, but for Terry - I'll pray my ass off. He's without a doubt the best poster on the forum. Even though I haven't met him, I feel like I've known him forever.

I'm pulling for ya bud - get better soon!

I have hesitated to post this but Terry has been in and out of the hospital several times in the last month and has been in the hospital about a week now. The problem is a major infection. This is from the surgery months ago.

The infection has been getting better or worse but never going away. Terry is now in the hospital for at least another week, maybe over a month. The doctors are telling him one to six weeks. A lot of med's going into him for the infection and pain. The positive things are that his spirits are good and he is a man of great faith.

Group prayer seems to have performed a few miracles in the past that I know of. Terry doesn't need a miracle but he does need some help battling pain and infection. This struggle has went on for months and that is why we still don't have Terry back on the forum. Those that pray, please send a few prayers up for Terry now and in the coming days and weeks.

Thanks to All,
Hu
