Predator 10 Ball tour stop - Spain

Whoever is doing the scoring is doing pretty brutal. Score says 4-4, Immonen misses a 10, Dominguez makes a 10-ball bank and wins, score 5-4 for Immonen....

We must be in the 32 player re-draw stage. I wish the brackets were up to date.

The two Dominguez matches are tied.

Ernesto was supposed to play Niels earlier - Ernesto must have won. I see Niels beat Corey Harper - don't know if that's it for Corey.

I just read where Brendan Crockett did win his first match - not bad!

Damn I wish this stream was working - I would love to see it.

Congrats to Ernesto!! Nice run out after a safety battle on the one ball. Notice that Oscar and Charlie took a break during the last few balls of that match, waiting 'til it was over before resuming their own game.

Great news! Charlie really must have made a run at Oscar - Oscar was well ahead at the beginning.

lol

Oscar just won on the loser's bracket. Ernesto beat Nick VanDenBerg - that's sweet.

It looks like Brendan is supposed to be playing his second match right now agaist a player from Afghanistan - he might be coming up shortly.

Sigel is playing tomorrow morning against a guy from Russia who just beat Darren Appleton.

he didnt beat me.. i wasnt there

they just left all the brits in the draw who couldnt make it because of snow storm in england

Oh, sorry Darren - I can't believe they left your name up there - I was thinking, who the heck is this guy I never heard of who can beat Darren Appleton?

I wonder if Sigel is getting back into the pro tounament play?

Ps. Can someone good rep "Slh " for me (above) - I can't do it and I can't stand seeing red.

According to Sigel, he is going to play many events this year. He talks about it in one of his interviews. All of the videos (interviews and tournament clips) can be found on the website at www.predator10ball.com/spain2010/videos/.

I also want to mention that we did not have commentating at the event because once the tables were moved into the new venue, the media/staff tables were far too close to the playing tables and it would have been very disruptive to play.

Thanks for the info, Cristina - I hope he gets in stroke and gives us some exciting matches. Mike sure has a lot of fans out there.

Congratulations, by the way, for playing in the Predator 10 Ball tourney. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate - I hope you enjoyed yourself over there. It's always a pleasure to hear your commentary and see your interviews.

Tell Sigel it is about time, and that alot of fans who remember what a monster he was in the 1980's are waiting to see what the new generation of players think if and when he starts doing that again.

Errm, BTW. Are we getting a live stream of the tournament for tomorrow? I was on the website to see when it starts and see that the "live" tab is atm missing.

No live stream for today. Play will resume in Brazil in summer at the next Predator tour. The 16 players received free travel and accommodation expenses, and they will get to play 2 events there :)

Fr what i jus read, doesnt seem like there is going to be a Brazil event or a finished tournament. I hope Predator makes good and pays the unpaid players

Folks,

The next time someone *****es about one of Mike Zuglan's Joss Tour events and where the added money goes, remember one important thing. NO ONE has ever not been paid by Mike at the event. NO ONE! Every player cashing gets real green stuff, not a check! My thoughts are, that is much more important to a player travelling around the country or the world to play pool! JMHO.

I've heard that they are working on the dates for the finish of the tournament. If you want to keep up to date email dragonpromotionsnews@gmail.com and they will send you info as it unfolds.

Just a note to clarify, not all Predator events are associated with Dragon Promotions and I doubt the Brazil tournament will be run by Dragon. Usually Predator partners with local organizations who have a large presence in that country. Many of their Asian events happen to be Dragon promotions but the Spain one was not and I don't think Brazil is.

I am almost positive the Brazil dates are set (per conversations I had with Predator a few weeks ago), but some details are still being worked on. I'm sure a press release will be coming out soon. I just wanted to stop any rumors before everyone blows it up into something it's not.

I know 5 pro friends who confirm they didnt get any money yet from the event as they are still undefeated in last 16. The local promoter Predator worked with ran into weather and financial troubles.
This event wasnt by Dragon Promotions, because I would have been surprised cause they have never had any financial problems or issues with paying players off.
