Predator 10 Ball tour stop - Spain

My stream gets really choppy and the sound cuts out. Does anybody else have this problem?

When I refresh or push Table 1 button it goes smooth for like 30seconds then goes choppy again.

Crown City Corey just won his first match 8-2. Get 'em Corey!

Earlier they showed Domniguez and I think he won, but I couldn't tell if it was Ernesto or Oscar - they're both playing.

I'm getting no picture at all.

Thanks Chris!

Sorry to say it looks like Oscar lost his match.

I play back at 10:30am (LT) vs. the winner of Ortmann's match I think.

This is kind of exciting, Brendan Crockett is playing.

I don't know how well known he is nationwide, but Brendan Crockett has been featured in the local newspapers out here in LA and is Junior national Champion 2009. He's 14 now, a well heeled young man who plays at Sal Butera's place in Moorpark. Sal works with him a lot. His school, Oaks Christian in Thousand Oaks, is an exclusive private school and home to a number of celebrity children (Joe Montana, Wayne Gretsky, Will Smith).

This is a young player to keep an eye on if he sticks with the game.

I played some sets with Brendan in vegas last year 09 bca, he plays good for sure and is a hella nice guy (kid), i wish him all the best and hope he sticks with it.

What has Brendan done to you? No reason to compare him to probably the greatest talent snooker has ever seen. Shit, why not compare him to Efren while your at it??? Its people like you why I still keep playing this game. I like to call them "haters." Just people who like to run their opinions behind a keyboard. If you like we can play some... Show the kid some respect. I dont care how much money you have, its not easy to travel 18 hours, play with the worlds greatest players. And sometimes get your ass handed to you. In my opinion, that takes a lot of guts. My hats off to Brendan or any other young kid that tries thier best and isnt afraid to step up to the plate...

A piece of advice to all you aspiring players. Dont let ANYONE tell you what you can, cant or shouldnt do in life. Listen to those who care for you. (Parents, close friends) Ignore folks who just like to talk shit.

Take it as you will.

Oscar Dominguez

well said oscar, good luck in the tourny and hope 2010 is even better for you than 09.

When does Brendan play? I'm pulling for him, hope he does well.

Oscar just won on the loser's bracket. Ernesto beat Nick VanDenBerg - that's sweet.

It looks like Brendan is supposed to be playing his second match right now agaist a player from Afghanistan - he might be coming up shortly.

Sigel is playing tomorrow morning against a guy from Russia who just beat Darren Appleton.

Bummer - he's out, lost tonight 8 -5. He gave it a shot.

Spain is a great country for visitors - I love it - too bad they are having such weather problems.

An admirable performance. He is on of few 14 yr. olds that can post 5 wins in a match against a seasoned adult.

Bill, I know you are proud of your son's performance, so are many of us here. Congratulations Brendan!

Maybe if he would have had a CA$H cue....

Several years ago, I once played a young man from Spain at the BCA Single 8 ball tournament and he showed great class. I was impressed with the way he handled his loss and I never forgot. He traveled all the way from Spain, got beat by a yahoo and only smiled and congratulated me on my steady play and win.

I always wondered if the rest of the Spanish players carried themselves like he did.

I think his name was David Gravalos, from Barcelona, Spain. There were a few players from Barcelona but he is the only one I remembered.

Very choppy stream today for me. Anyone else getting this?

Steams not working for me at all - I gather Ernesto is playing Mika on Table 1 and Oscar is playing Charlie Williams on table 2? They must be in single elimination now but no brackets are posted yet.

Whoever is doing the scoring is doing pretty brutal. Score says 4-4, Immonen misses a 10, Dominguez makes a 10-ball bank and wins, score 5-4 for Immonen....

you tell em Oscar ! how are you doing so far ? i wondering what kind of balls those are ? i like the way they look.

zilla in syracuse.

I don't think your question was answered yet. Those appear to be the new top of the line balls from Aramith, the Tournament set: http://www.saluc.com/visu/Tournament_Press_Release.pdf. I am not sure that there is anything different about them from the Super Pros or Cents except for the graphics because the Saluc website continues to say that the Super Pros have the the highest end phenolic resin available.
