Q Masters altercation?

I'm not trying to argue with you or stir the pot and I'm sure Tony is a a nice guy or whatever but he is going through a rough time because he committed a crime and got caught. Regardless if he was set up or not facts are facts and this rough time you speak of he is going through is because of choices HE made, and even if he was here to defend himself I don't see how he could. People make bad decisions and get punished when caught, life goes on that's about all you can say..IMO

I see you're from Ohio. Hmm. What's your name? What town do you live in? Do you know the people involved?

Read my previous post.

He made a poor choice by trafficing drugs from what I remember reading, now he's serving the time and it is a shame. Ive not said anything bad about Tony. You're a trip. Plus, I'm not hiding.

Who was the rat since you know everything?

Drug related drama seems to be more common within the pool community than others. The sponsers and the common public beliefs about the seedy underground world of pool is true for the most part. Pool is not for the weak at heart.

You leave Tony Chohan alone. The man is going through enough right now in his life, don't you think? He was set up by a rat.

Plus, he is not here to defend himself on this forum, but I am. Find somebody else to ridicule behind your "Hungarian" forum identity.

You're missing my point, I guess.

First off, this thread isn't about Tony or Rodney. It's about the Boxing Brits.

Tony Chohan is a friend of mine, and as such, I won't sit here and read rubbish about him. Yes, he did the crime, and he was set up by a pool-playing rat who still walks the streets while Tony sits in jail. Tony could have rolled over and freed himself, but he didn't. He did the crime; he's paying the time. Nobody, at least not me, is saying what he did was right and that we should all bend down and praise him.

For some forum member of a pool forum to cast judgment on what Tony did, especially when they don't know the entire circumstances, and make statements about Tony's character, I think it's wrong. As such, since I am friends with Tony, I'm going to stand up for him on this thread.

I'll bet if you look deep down at yourself and your entire life, you're not an angel either. None of us are. The only difference is Tony got caught. For anybody to say he's probably done this before, well, that's when the hair stands up on the back of my neck, and I fear the words that will spew from my fingertips combatting the ignorance.

So your saying not flipping was the right thing to do? I disagree.

He played a game and lost. If he chose to do the time and not flip then he has to deal with that.

I agree this thread is not about him or Rodney. The fact still remains you do the crime you do the time. He should of talked when he had the chance.

Most people in the pool world know who the rat was. As he is no longer around pool because he is not welcome by most. The fact that he is still walking is what surprises me.

I know I knew who the rat was at one time but I've smoked too much pot since then to remember...lol...jk

See, I agree with you now...

Agree with this entire post...

Funny but if they paid people to be informants they would get further to the bosses. Cop says... "How much you make on thie run??" 5 large??? "I will give you that and 3 more if you hand me the right people!!"

With the amount of money they spend on failed (and I mean FAILED!!) Missions they could get the bad guys by paying off the mules. It makes complete sense does it not?? I mean that is want the bad guys do!! Plus they police could use drug money as their bankroll.

No matter how many bosses they take down they're 2 or more to replace them. Go after the cocaine and meth guys not the pot farmers!! I'm not an advocate for weed but I could give a crap if you like to smoke. Hell I've smoked weed with top pros and thought nothing of it!! Weed is safer than alcohol!! How scary is that

You need to remember prisons are owned by private people now. SO locking people up is a money making machine. As long as this happens things will not change. There is a reason when they release people they dont do it until the count for the day is done. That way they get the money from every body they have.

This is very true and very sad.... They held me over the weekend (did 4 days) till arrainment on Monday. I was stopped and arrested on Thursday. I couldn't just plead not guilty and get my court date. Biggest pile of shite I've ever had to deal with. Oh and my cell mate was looking at 10 years for pot charges. He was doing one last drop to make around 35k so he could pay his bills and help save his marriage by relieving money stresses. Well he got setup by somebody else that got busted. The cop had an illegal search (so I heard ) when he was pull over but he was crossing canada's border so who knows.... All I know is he lost everything because he was dropping of a harmless plants to other people. All in hopes of making everything ok and bring some happiness back to his life. Do I think its right??? No but I don't blame him. Don't know what happened with Tony but I wouldn't doubt that any pool player would do certain things to help out their money woes. Especially since proze funds are shite!

You are contadicting yourself. You say peeps should roll over and then you say you do the crime you do the time.

I come from the old school that you do not rat no matter what.Narks,stool-pigeons and such are weak punks who weasle thier way out of doing the time that thier crimes otherwise dictate.

Often the Nark is desperate to stay out of jail beacuse he/she is drug addicted and will do anything to feed the habit.Cops just perpetuate the addictions by allowing the nark to stay on the streets-even providing them with the drug in some cases.

Heard there was a little scuffle last night, curious to on site details rather then going on hearsay.

Anyone?

What Im amazed at is, in this day and age no one caught this on video....Come on, they have countless videos of somebodys cat doing something stupid......Break out the Vid.....I know some one has it

I heard Lee was minding his own business and being awesome and Darren got in his face about being too awesome. Well lee was 15 pints deep by then and mouthed off to Darren about losin to a planned out 3 rail combo excuted perfectly by the magician. Efren told Lee the only reason he did it was to embrass him and it really showed with all the gloating and show boating that was done. Reyes said Darren isn't good enough to breathe the same air as him.... Lee told Darren all of this and that's when it all got started..

Darren was in good spirits and laughed it all off the next day. And he even went back to Qmasters and had a few more drinks. He's a good guy. Shit happens

theyre english they fight all the time and make up. i remember one year i went to the us open and was at qmasters someone gave scott frost the 1 hitter quitter and sent him snoring. Scott has no bad feelings about it. it happens

Maybe I am a traitor but there is no place like the USA. I have got myself into trouble in the past for making statements like this BUT I don't care if you like who is in the white house or who is not. The U.S,A is still the greatest country in the world. JMO :)

Anyway, I hope that Daz is ok and that Lee didn't get himself into too much trouble. I do like Cheeseburgers.

Damn Mark, I was trying to figure out your accent and I thought maybe Texarkana or Muscogee - now I find out you're from over the pond.

Reading the last five posts before yours in this thread, it makes your post more funny. :grin-square:
