Am I the only one put off by this? I've been thinking about contacting Glen to work on my table based on his rep... I'm not so sure anymore. I know he is great at what he does, but if he doesn't do it, is it great?

Let me help you out with that, don't bother with me...find someone else:rolleyes:

All I can say is ...

In my dealing with Glen I have been more than satisfied. He has gone WAY beyond what I would expect from a mechanic and wouldnt hesitate in the least recommending him.

Chris

I knew there was someone I forgot to add to my "never work for" list:wink:

Real smart Glen! Remember there are tons of table mechanics,no one is irreplaceable. You are still cracking wise after screwing up your rep and not paying the Dr.If the work dries up then maybe you will wise up.

come on man...

how about a little humility? maybe an apology? At least tell the guy you're sorry for stringing him along(even if you're not) We all know you're a great mechanic... we've seen and heard about your work for a long time but this cavalier attitude is a little much. Shit doesn't "just happen" for 6 months or a year. He may not be out any actual money when it's all said and done but he'll certainly be out some money till you give it back.

I know, I know....but sometimes shit just happens.....then we come along and step in it, and track it around everywhere:grin: but as I've said, he's not out any money, so all's well that ends well:smile:

If you want to talk to me, call me 702-927-5689 But this forum is not going to make me move any faster:smile:

Interesting because I recall you using this very same tactic to call out Greg Sullivan and Diamond Billiards when you weren't happy with them.

As for not going faster, fast would've been delivering the guy his table in a timely manner, not putting it off for so long that he ended up selling it because he never got it. Fast would've been doing the right thing and dropping a check in the mail to this guy. Fast would've been not spending the money elsewhere and giving him the runaround while you try to get the funds together to pay him back his money that you never should've spent in the first place.

Your subsequent posts about doing things on your own time and mouthing off to potential customer simply puts you in the same catagory as Kevin Varney. Your lack of customer service skills are severely lacking to put it kindly.

My God, Glen... Fact of the matter is you spent money that was not yours to spend. You agreed to complete the transaction and did not uphold your end. It's been the greater part of a year and you have told the person asking "when I get it together it's your's", only it's been his this entire time.

The least that you could do is be a bit more humble and admit your screw up. What you fail to realize is that for each one of the "peanut gallery" that posts, there are 10 others that are reading this as well...

And while there is only "one" of you, there are many "like you" out there that will show a bit more respect to the customer.

Is to post the message I entered when I left you negative feedback because I think you're out of line?

I'll ask again in a different way. Why is it not ok for this guy to come here with his issue that has gone on for so long but it was ok for you to come on here when you took issue with Diamond?

I thought I remember you posting that you were in NJ just a couple of months ago. Seems as though that would have been a good time to take care of this.

Here is what YOU did to Diamond. The part in red is to point out that you obviously felt the same then that doc feels about you now.

Dear Greg, Chad, and Mark.

I feel it's only fair that I regretfully inform all of you that as of June 1st or there abouts, once I have finished delivering the tables I am committed to deliver, I'll no longer be delivering anymore of Diamonds pool tables. Due to irreconcilable differences, being this Diamond truck I lease from Diamond to deliver these Diamond tables, and the requests for something newer to deliver your pool tables with for the last 6 months, I can no longer do my job efficiently and cost effective as a sub-contractor as the cost of operating this vehicle is just to outrageous.

Once I've completed the last of my deliveries, I'll drop your truck off at the Diamond factory, then purchase something used to tow my trailer and belongings back to Washington State, where I'll resume my profession as a Billiards technician once again.

I have no hard feelings toward Diamond, or their employees, I've had a long relationship with most of you, dating back to March of 2000. I just feel that at this time, this is the best thing for all of us.

I have tried on several occasions to speak with all three of you about this situation, but over the last 6 months, I feel my concerns for better, more reliable transportation have fallen on the unimportant list, as in not a priority at the moment. A lot of moments have passed in the last 6 months.

Rather than part on bad terms, I feel it's only fair to inform you this way, as then I know you'll hear me, and my message.

To anyone that was planning on having me deliver your pool tables in the near future, I'm sure Diamond will make arrangements to still make that happen, just not with me.

Sincerely, Glen...the Realkingcobra.

Good luck to anyone that takes a chance on this guy from this point on. Anyone that would treat their customers/potential customers like this is a piece of work. I'm glad I found out sooner than later.

hmmmmm...............

Going to sleep now, have 600 miles to drive tomorrow on the way back to the Diamond factory, then returning to the NJ, MD, NH, NY, CT and NC area on thursday. I'll check in tomorrow morning.

Glen

Maybe his account got hacked

Unfortunately thats not the case. If you read his posts in the thread he started against Diamond Billiards, you'll see this is simply how he is.

Rkc

Glen ALWAYS came through for me and did the best job on the planet.
He went way out of his way to redo my GC1 and come back a few months later to install new slates and just arranged for Donny at SD Billiards pick up my table. Now it is well on it's way to being delivered!!!!

So my experience with Glen was excellent!
