Sad news about Jeremy Jones' Dad

Jeremy Jones' Dad passed away at 1am this morning after a long battle with cancer.

Please keep his whole family in your thoughts and prayers.

Jeremy was in Jacksonville for the Seminole tournament over the weekend and placed 5th and then flew back last minute yesterday early evening after he got a call.

He was able to be by his Fathers side, as was his other 5 brothers and sisters, when he passed.

His Dad is at peace and no longer suffering.
 
Sorry to hear about Jeremy's Dad. If Jeremy ever needs to talk all he has to do is call. I have been out of the tour and tournaments for this whole season helping my mom with the cancer battle so I feel for Jeremy and understand how bad it can be. Glad he went peacefully and wish Jeremy well in his own recovery of his loss.

A loss of loved family member takes some time to heal. My condolences to JJ and his family.

This is a tough one. It has been a painful battle for him and his family. Times like this is so incredibly tough. My thoughts and prayers.
 
Sorry to hear about this,never easy to lose a loved one,my condolences to Jeremy and his family.
 
ditto...:( I lost my own father a couple of years ago...not to cancer, but to ahlzheimer's. Doesn't matter what it is...the loss of a loved one is traumatic!:(

I am so glad you were able to be there!! I was there when my father passed and am so grateful that I got to be there.

My sincere condolences to you and your family!

That is horrible to hear, I wish Jeremy was still here in Jacksonville so that I could offer some support in person. May he rest in peace and I hope his family copes with this loss as best they can.
 
Condolences to the Jones family. Cancer is brutal on the whole family, I have been through it twice with family members. I hope the family does as well as can be expected under the the circumstances.
 
So sorry to hear of Jeremy's loss. I also lost my father to cancer many years ago - it'll never be easy and will always leave a hole no one else can fill. I'll be thinking of him.
 
My condolences go out to Jeremy and his family. From what I understand his father was a fine man who did a lot of good in his life. One example of that is the good man that Jeremy Jones is. He is a credit to the game of pool.
