Shaw/ Bergman- OFF

No reason to post this.

even if its true! And the "I won't go into details" is just fuel for those that make assumptions. Jay you of all people should know this.

I won't go into any details here but Jayson may have some personal issues he needs to get handled moving forward. These issues could well be affecting his judgement and playing ability. I wish him the best getting them resolved for his own good.

Oh, my imagination runs wild! :grin-square:

I think he's happy with his family, so that's good.

The only other thing that comes to mind is, well, the law, as in DWI or the like. I know he likes to drink alcohol sometimes. I hope that is not the case. :frown:

Something is definitely "weird" going on with Shaw, because now he's claiming he will play in Vegas for 50k....

Kenny Comfort Lol Jayson Shaw I love how all these clowns 🤡 just keep taking meanwhile they don’t even no shit I mean you said that you’d post 50k at any venue in Vegas i don’t see why nobody wants to take you up on your offer but yet they got some
Much input on a game and situation that does not concern them except for the viewing pleasure probably, keep doing what you do bro **** these haters man!!!!

Loopholes

If for whatever reason a player can get out a a game he don't think he can win @ then 99% will...I'm sure when they agreed to match Jason in his mind thought he could win...something changed to make him feel it's a bad game..He found loophole to back out...Happens all the time in pool world...Lesson to be learned...always lock it in especially with big matches...@ lease with no show money...All players & backers want to feel they got a edge...I aint gonna hate on Jason for finding a loophole...I Wouldn't put my money in a spot where I really didn't think I could win..If I think I'm betting the right side & lose then oh well..Tap Tap Tap for other guy.

And now Jayson is talking no show money?

The appearance he had backing out as a possibility in mind early on is there for me, as a result of that comment.

If one is aware that no show is a thing and you are aware it wasn't called for in match up # 2...to posture about a match up # 3 and start singing about jacking the bet up and invoking a no show penalty?

Starting to reek of a move to me too.

He has always come across to me as believing himself to be triple-slick. As if he's the first to ever draw his rock...:nono:

This match was heavily promoted, months of hard work and promotions, event merchandise was made T-Shirts drinking mugs. Jeremy was brought in and paid to do the commentary.Professionally done posters and banners,

I know the fans were really looking forward to this match and so was i, Shaw and Bergman both great players.Very disappointing to say the least.

Yeah, imagine that. Shaw wants 10k no show money posted in Vegas. The guy appears to be highly delusional....

How sick would it be if Berg flies to Vegas at the end of this one and says.......I'm ready?

All of that promotion and no one (the promoters) thought to get no show money posted. I'm sorry, but that is a complete failure.

I think this is something that may happen in the future.

I will say this, though. Many years ago, Keith was going to play somebody on a live stream. The live streamers wanted the post money 2 months in advance. Keith's backer wasn't going for it and said no way.

Maybe if there was a 10 percent amount posted to guarantee the player's appearance, that might work. Then if the player does not show up, they lose the 10 percent.

Shaw and Bergman woofing on Facebook. Shaw looking to post 50k with punk out money....pool has turned into professional wrestling.

Dayne Miller the owner of Steakhorse Billiards he's all about the players he made a dream come true opening his own very nice pool room last year.

He runs all kinds of events with lots of added money and is very dedicated to bringing the best players and matches and events to his room.

He bends over backwards to do things for the players he was a huge factor helping Roberto Gomez get his travel visa situation fixed. Roberto is now his house pro at the pool room.

I am sure Dayne and Ray Hansen will have a new policy in effect to keep this from happening in any future big matches.

Sorry JAM, with all due respect -- this isn't their first rodeo. I think maybe they were blinded by the awesomeness of the match they forgot to put their ducks in a row.

I talked to the person traveling with Justin last night - he is a good friend of mine. I told him he was silly to even leave his house to drive from St Louis to South Carolina unless no show money was posted. Especially when the last time Bergman played Shaw, Shaw was scrambling last minute to come up with any money for the match. Finally one person felt backed into the corner to put up half the original amount that was agreed they were to play for.

This is why gambling matches imo are no good “for today’s streaming world”. It’s much better if the promoter makes all the rules, equip picks, etc, and offers 2x to the winner, and 1x to the loser. (Or whatever odds). Otherwise, it’s just herding cats.

it is too bad the shaw match is off i agree. it is great to see them put up another great match with great commentary.
