A good friend on mine on AZ sent me a PM and suggested a idea for a avitar,
Its a old picture (2002) that was taken after we filmed a TV show for the Discovery Channel and The Travel Channel, the still pic in the avitar wasnt my idea-the director wanted it for her portifolio or for her resume'. It was kinda fun that day, we shot 2 days, the show aired for 5 years all over the world. I got called for it last minute it was the first time I ever did a TV show. I didnt tell anyone about it, and when it aired EVERYONE I knew called, emailed me etc. I had no idea that anyone would ever see it, man I was wrong. Even my friends in Europe saw it, about 2 years alter it aired in the States I started getting emails from my friends in Europe-they got it last, another friend saw it on the airplane(Jet Blue) it was the inflight show, It was a 60 minute show broken into 4 segments 15 minutes each, I was one of them. my 15 minutes. Man TV is powerful it amazed me how many people watch that stuff. It was all staged except the bank scene they edited out, the show sucked, they were from the UK and didnt know what footage to keep to capture Vegas, I told them-they forgot, didnt listen-What ever if was fun though.
The show was "How to blow a million in Vegas" The crew was from London and never been to Vegas before, and had no idea what to do, So for my part I kinda had to give them the ideas to fill the time, they were helpless, like I would be in Sydne Austrilia or a Spelling Bee, they contacted me 3 weeks before the call time for the shoot, I suggested that if were gonna blow a million, going to the bank getting it out would be a good start, they agreed, so I called and ordered the $$$, banks dont have that much in the vault, at least my bank dosent. We filmed a great sceen of me driving up to the bank, withdrawing the $$$, and leaving. They edited it all out except one small trailor to advertize the show, I wish I had that clip of me in the bank saying "Lets go blow the dough!!!", it was classic, man thinking about it I really wish I had that 4 second clip.
It was about 9:15AM and we still had the bank closed at least 30 people outside were looking in when we took this pic, they all thought it was cool, If you look closely I have a gun (loaded) in my belt loop. We left $800,000 at the bank and took $200,000 for a scene of me buying a car-it was all staged, the $200,000 was back in the bank 4 hours later. Fun day.
Since then I have done several more reality shows for German/European TV and 2 documentary shows about cars, Doing TV is fun. I dont ever want to be famous, but I do enjoy the documentatys talking about things and my experiences sharing what I know with others. I know that 97.5334% of the people here dnt believe me its not a EGO thing, the Avitar is kinda, but more to have fun-not filling some egotistical void in my life.
This was shot before I really started making $$$, so that night with Tooth was real, this was staged, it was my $$$, the bank wouldnt move that much to a branch unless its for a customer, thats the story.
Should the Avitar stay or go? I'm doing this for fun, if its not fun or pisses you off vote no. Like I have said time and time again I like everyone here and I hope people like me for me not silly shit like this.
Fatboy
P.S. It is exactly $1,000,000.00 I'm holding.
