Notice the PS indicating that Jodi has taken an interest. The two doctors I listed are the administrators of the trials at Miami. I suspect they have gotten a similar number of e-mails. This means that Doug's case will stand out a little from most. These people are humans just like the rest of us. They will be curious about the man that inspired so many to write and give him that little bit of extra attention that might make all the difference.

It apprears they will certainly consider Doug for the trial, but keep in mind that Doug must "qualify". Keep your fingers crossed, say a prayer, meditate.....whatever you can.

I just got word that Mrs Smorg is contacting the trial peeps to see if Doug will qualify!! Please keep the prayers going and the e-mails going to the folks in Miami.

i am just an old, old boy - been thru a lot and have seen a lot; and maybe at times thought too much, and even at times thought too much of myself.

i just want to say what i feel, so...

you are just an amazing group of 'friends' that i am truly grateful that i have found.

Doug, We're still all hoping and praying that somehow you can either make it into the trial, or have the routine operation performed. In either case, we miss not hearing from you on a regular basis, and we're pulling and praying for you.

You haven't let ANYONE down....probably ever.

I got justin Bergman to sign it-I was proud of that, he is my friend and JoeyA and I told him what was going on and he stopped and signed it real nice, I know Doug watched him win the 10ball ring game(I'm pretty sure he did anyways)

Just to bust Dougs chops right in the middle of the #1 letters on his jacket I signed it #2(a long running inside joke between doug and I)

life is cruel sometimes and were going to lose a dear friend and that totally sucks, I hope he dosent suffer like my partents and lives alot longer. But its approiate to start a new Thread IMO.

We must keep Smorg at #1 forever, I gave him my word that I would see to it as long as i'm #2 he will be #1. He was thrilled about that-still didnt rep me:mad: though. :)
