Doug is in the hospital and for the moment, he is stable. He has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure and other tests are still pending.

He is in good spirits and wanted me to let his AZ brothers and sisters know that he misses posting on AZ but the last couple of months has not been easy for him.

At this point, there is still much to be learned about his illness and symptons, so those of you who are inclined, please send him your best wishes and thoughts in your own personal way. I will do my best to convey your thoughts as opportunity presents itself.

SmorgassBored is not able to receive phone calls, has shortness of breath and of course has no ability to interact on the Internet but appreciates all of his friends here on AZ Billiards.

I hope everything works out for Doug. You know that they say laughter helps the healing process. Hopefully Doug will get a sense of humor one of these days.
 
Please tell Doug that my prayers are with him every day. And that I hope he gets 110% better soon. The Tampa/St. Pete tournaments won't be the same without him on the rail snatchin' the last piece of pizza ;)

He is one of my favorite posters here. Tell him to hang in there and listen to the doctors, even if what they tell him pisses him off.
