Stolen cue!!! Barry Stewart has my cue.

I think I found correct number...VJ062041067US

Signed by a B Stewart...anyhoo, it was delivered yesterday!
You may be jumping the gun on this a bit? Give the guy a chance to do something, only 1 day has passed. Sheesh!!

Quoting prior post:
He was contacted by Dusty before the cue arrived. He was given my contact info. After 2 days of no contact and pictures of the cue sent (box was opened) to Dusty I was given his phone number. He told Dusty he was keeping the cue. He told Dusty he sold it already.

Yes it was shipped properly. He was contacted by Dusty before the cue arrived. He was given my contact info. After 2 days of no contact and pictures of the cue sent (box was opened) to Dusty I was given his phone number. He told Dusty he was keeping the cue. He told Dusty he sold it already. He will not answer my calls. I in no way was rude or rushing. I just wanted to talk to him. If he would of talked to me he would of realized he was going to be rewarded if the cue was forwarded to the owner.

I feel I gave a fair amount of time. I doubt he sold the cue already. I need this situation public before the cue changes hands.

You really didn't answer my questions.

Are you sure he's not joking about selling the cue? If I knew who was to get it, I may have teased him a bit before sending it over.

I put the wrong label on a cue being delivered. I sent a customers cue to Barry on accident. The owner of the cue contacted my telling my the tracking number wasn't his. I contacted Dusty to get Barry's phone number so we could get this cue re-shipped to the proper owner. Barry knows he's holding a cue that doesn't belong to him.
I don't like thiefs. I want the cue back. I will reward anybody that helps.

This is the info I have for Barry Stewart

He won't answer my call. He has answered to Dusty so I'll assume the number is correct.

This is the cue. It's a Titlist conversion. My signature is beteen the points. You might need your glasses to see it.

Scott...... I am very sorry to hear and see this. I don't know this guy personally but the address you gave is only about 10 minutes from my house, he lives in my neck of the woods. Yes, he lives in SC and I live in Ga but I can cross the Savannah River and be in North Augusta from my house in less than 10 minutes. Also, I don't know if you noticed, but he is using a GA phone number, not a SC phone number. I've lived in this area my whole life (44 years) but I have never heard of the name before.

I'm not going to go knock on any doors and get shot at or nothing, but I WILLl spread the word all over this damn town and keep a strong look out for that cue. I play APA and we play over in North Augusta all the time. I frequent ALL the major pool halls at least once a week plus alot of the little side bars we play at too.

Again, I'm very sorry to hear this and if I see/hear/find ANYTHING I will contact you.

I'm not going on the defense.

He's keeping my cue. I want it back. He knows it's not his. He has stated he's keeping it. Do I really need to defend myself when it's 100% obvious he's stealing it?

He has sent me a text.

For you guys that think I jumped the gun. He was texting Dusty at the same time I was. I tried calling and sent a text. He responded to Dust and ignored mine. Barry stated in these texts he was keeping the cue. That's when things changed. I told him I would go public if he didn't contact me.

His text gives me enough to look into legal action. I just want the cue back. When the cue is safely in my hands I will erase this thread.

When he sent the text I got excited. It's not looking good. His text isn't a closed case but it's enough that I'll call his local police tomorrow. It would be a lot easier to just call me and send my the cue back.

Wow. As a member in good standing in the D Bag Club of North America, I can tell you that this guy wouldn't get a membership.

His Douchiness far exceeds our qualifications or expectations.

Good luck Scott. Sounds like you have a bit of a mess on your hands now.

In the end, at least let the rest of us know who not to deal with in the future.

A full force open handed slap to the ear is quite effective for getting your belongings back however, it sounds like u are too far away to do that. You can go the law enforcement route but its unlikely they will do much. I would just wait and catch up with him at a billiard expo or something of that nature.

I think all he needs to come to his senses is to play a game of Sleeper Pool ! Bust his head with a cue and put his @ss to Sleep !!,,, Theres nothing worse than a thief....<< ED

$2,363 taxes on that house???? I pay $8,000 in taxes for a 2 bedroom shoe box the size of that living room.... Sweet Jesus.... That's New Jersey for ya.

In regards to the OP it amazes me how low a person can go and I do not care if he is poor or rich. How do you sleep at night knowing you are screwing somebody over? Does your conscious not eat at you? Bah!

I hope it turns out the way it is supposed to. Good luck gentlemen.

Mr. Gracio;

I don't think you owe anyone here an apology if this Barry Stewart did, indeed, indicate that he intends to keep your cue. Obviously a lot of work went into it and the rightful owner, your paying customer, deserves what is his just as you deserve to be paid for your work.

If the cue did arrive at Stewarts home just yesterday, perhaps he will come to his senses and do the right thing. IMO, I don't think you jumped the gun by posting this thread so quickly. The minute he became evasive and said he was keeping your cue, at that moment, all etiquette goes out the window.

And if he does come through and return the cue to you, it may be because you got right on it.

I hope this finds a happy ending and, much more importantly, best wishes that your wife is getting better very soon.

best,
brian kc

I agree it is wrong of the guy to keep the cue and it is low of him, but I still have not heard how it was shipped to the wrong person. You have to have had some dealings with him at some point otherwise you would not have his address. Is there something else going on behind the scenes that we dont know? Did yall have a bad deal on something else that is making him act this way? Some people are just d-bags, but if he moves that many cues I question why destroy his rep over one cue? I hope he does the right thing and ships it to the owner.
