i hate a thief and i really hope you track down your cue. it sucks to have someone steal something that most of us work hard for.

hate thievery

man that is some buuull shit. hope u find it it should pop up hard to hide a bluegrass cue i just cant blieve that hope u find the dirty bastard and break his hands.

Pool tournies and thieves?

Yup. That is how I lost my first Cue. A Balabushka. More than 35 years ago. Nothing has changed.
That is why I think no more big Cues at tournies for me.
Good luck Mr Gary. You are one of the good guys.
Nick :)

cameras

With all of the cameras in that place, looks like they would have seen something. Hope you can find your cue or the thief.

How does this happen in a casino? You can't pick your nose in the elevator without the guys in the control booth watching on the monitor and laughing at you.

Hope someone finds the guy and you get your cue back, with or without blood stains.

I've got league three nites a week...so I shoot with a Meucci Sneaky. Someone stole a Scruggs out of my case some years ago. No more highend cues for me when I go into a bar. Cheap case and a cheap cue...both can be replaced.

Hope your cue turns up!

Best advice is to keep your cues with you at all times, do not just set them down and walk off to the bathroom, smoke, or eat expecting them to be there when you return.

Never had a cue stolen, but I have a couple that I know people would like to steal. This forum alone has stopped me from wanting to bring my Schick to anywhere other than friends basements for pool nights.

I understand why people steal. Good stuff without working for it. I just don't understand the balls it must take to steal something right there in an open room. I mean, someone must see it happen right? Though I guess, who knows whose case belongs to who in there. if someone stole a cue out of a case at a table next to me I might not even think he was stealing it, just taking it out to use.

What a crappy thing. That would so piss me off. I'm taking the advice of what I have seen in this thread and just bringing my old Meucci to whatever pool halls I might venture out to.

Sincere wishes to you and your lost cue. And I wonder if maybe the casino could help you, or at least show you the person stealing it even if you can't identify him/her. Those places have virtually no blind spots in any given room.

At least by posting here you'll have AZ and most likely ebay covered.

Bluegrass logo

for anyone reading this who may not be aware, the Bluegrass logo Gary is referring to on the missing sneaky is a red stallion approx 2 inches up from buttcap. Also, cue is signed between the points.

Keep your eyes peeled for this distinctive cue.

Sure hope you get back what's yours.

GL

Best,
Brian kc

I cant stand people that do this kind of stuff, Lets all stay on the lookout.

Some dirtbags go to events to steal cues for drugs, try the local pawn shops around there, send them pics. I hope they get what they deserve.

few years back one of the pro's had his main player ripped of at the bar box comp at the sands in reno , its just wrong.
sorry for your loss
mike

I was there when they announced the missing cue. I'm sorry this happened but you can't leave your cue out of your sight.
