I am doing a video interview with Shane tonight at Lucky's in Sioux Falls. Just curious if any one had any questions they wanted me to ask. If you post stupid questions expect stupid answers. ie. "Does Shane practice animal sacrifce to maintain his pool power"....will be replied to with a "Yes"

If you got equipment questions or playing questions or whatever lets hear 'em....I got about 2 hours before I take off.

Ask him about the white 8-Ball express Van and what he thought about it when he was just a bumkin.

Who have been his toughest opponents and why?

Does he think the level of play is higher overseas than in the U.S.?

We all know he plays great 9-Ball and Ten Ball. How about his One Pocket game? Straight Pool? Banks?

What players does he admire and why?

Does he want the 7 ball or 3 on the wire from Fatboy? ;)

Ask him what he thought was the most important thing Dick Spitzer taught him during his earlier years.

If being deaf is truly an advantage & he is able to tune out all distractions?

Also, if being deaf has heightened his other senses?

What other sports or hand/eye coordination games does he excel at?

Do me a favor and ask him what size tip diameter and taper length he has on his shaft. The action report had an article on his cue but didn't get into specifics.

> I read Shane said Mike Sigel, and Nick Varner were a big help developing his break. Was that from one on one lessons, or from a video?.......name of video please!:D

> For a young dude Shane appears very controled and relaxed. Is this a natural thing, or was this learned over time?....or is he real good at hiding he's about to flip out?!:D

Now that you had the chance to play more and more pros over the last year, how has your perception of them changed? Have you seen sides of them that you weren't expecting?

Since he uses his same cue for playing and breaking, how often does he need to retip his cue. Also has he ever replaced his shaft? What is shanes cleaning regimen for his cue?

I was thinking the same thing

Who most impressed him at the WPC in Manila last month? Was the field more or less talented than he expected. And how about the action in Manila?

If I am correct, he has had multiple barbox champions in his family.

I'd first like to know does he think lesser of the barbox than 9 footers, and what was it like growing up with such strong players in his family?

EFREN REYES AIMING SYSTEM, HGH

Ask him what he feels is the reason or reasons that in less than 2 years time he went from a very strong regional player known mostly for bar table prowess to arguably one of the finest professional players in the world.

i asked him about that, he said "Once a year or a little more often" I said "Every 8 months?" he replied "Something like that". I looked at his main shaft that he has used since he was 9 when the tip question came to mind, and it has ALOT of miles on it, the tip was wore down but had a nice shape to it, the curve looked like a dime, it was to wore down to mushroom. It was cool to get to look at that shaft, last week. I was going to hit a couple balls with it, but there wasnt time. He loves it, his eyes lit up when he was talking about it. I believe his mom gave it to him, it fits the "SHANE" Joss butt too.

Does he follow other sports, and what are his favorite pro teams? Will new england go undefeated?

How does he know when the warning buzzer goes off in events with a shot clock? How does he manage the 30 second shot clock? Is there an actual clock there that he in particular has to pay close attention to?
