T.a.r. Challenge

For some reason in some sick way I enjoy being tortured. So part of me hopes that rodney out breaks me and wins just so I can read your idiotic post that will go through me like nails. It will probly read like this "Why did they let that amateur on pay per view... I knew it was an easy pay day!

I'll make you a bet if we do play... I bet that this amateur shoots an.880 t.p.a (total performance average) or better in the race to 100.

t.p.a is a tool that accustats uses to judge a players performance... they say if you shoot around .830 or .840 that is considered world class speed.

Take my money I am a sucker. Actually, me only having to shoot an .880 is such a heist that i feel guilty about stealing from you. lol.

Sincerly, amateur

LOL, this is classic. Great post Donnie, for an amateur.

Well I'm not going to argue semantics on what the definition of pro is but I think of a pro as someone who makes an actual living off of playing pool. Donnie doesn't even come close to that.

I really liked Rodney in this one because he is an actual pro who is used to playing a televised match and Donny isn't at all.

I will never pay to see a TAR match that isn't even. I want a lot of attention and want to be seen on TAR too and I've got 10 grand but I'm not going to ask for a ridiculous spot just to be on TAR.

Lol ridiculous spot! Lol so 1 game going to ten is a ridiculous spot?! Same as 10 going to a hundred. Well if I don't like the table i will turn down the 10 game spot, and then say i will play with out the 10 game spot in a different room.

This amateur has 2 offers for you. 1. I'll play the 10ball ghost on 41/2 inch pockets. Ten on the break doesn't count. Combo on the 10 is not a win. If I make more than 1 ball on the break it spots up.

2. I'll play the 9ball ghost with no ball in hand on 4 1/2 inch pockets, and the 9 on the break is not a win. Race to 15. I'll take 3-1 the ghost doesn't reach 10.

I'm really confused why you'd even have to write this. People must think you can't play or something. Strange. Keep playin' it cool and let the world step into one. *rolling my eyes*

there might be 10 people in america that play better than donny and we got people on here that call him an amateur.........thats awesome

10 ball you have action. List the 10 that cannot beat him and I will play a set with at least two different players since you said might. No offense to Donny as I know he plays great, but Top 11 is a little much (other than rack-your-own 9 ball; which is a great feat also).

BTW I like Donny in this game. Good luck to both parties.

I'll be the second person to say that this is absolutely sick how strong that is. If you had the spot anything above one ball made on the break (as offered in the 10 ball ghost) I would think it nearly epic.

This ain't no amateur talking here! Very few players would offer either game.

All talk? Lol!!!!!!!!! Look, I already named 3 places I would play 100% sure. Rocky the owner of capones wants it to be played at his place, as does rodney. Also capones was rodneys home room. The tables are gold crowns that are loose. They said they would shim up a table for me and make the table a little higher(because the tables there are a little low to the ground) I'm tall and it screws with my stance.

I've lost one 9ball session out of a bunch in the last couple years. Do you think that happened by playing on tables that I am not familiar with dummy? The one that I lost just so happened to be on a table I was not comfortable on, but I wanted to play.

I said it before-- excuses, excuses. Appreciate you proving my point. If you are such a good player as some say on here then why can't you adjust to a table? Most great players, even good players, are able to adjust to the table. You are a clown. Quit talking and play. Is Rodney or who ever your gonna play coming up with excuses.

Don't worry. It won't happen. The great pool player(DM) will find some way for it to not happen. Don't you find it amazing that some on here, including Clown(DM), talk and brag about how good he is and yet, he wants a spot, needs a spot?

Looks like my plan to try to get this back to an even match might actually end up working. Good. That's what TAR has always stood for. Two Champions going at it even.

and if whoever is bashing donny wants to bet on anyting he offered tar will stream that after the rodney match if the gentelman in question will post the money!

My theory is that a seasoned pro (Playing pool is his profession therefore a "pool pro") with a lot of television experience will have way less nerves than someone who hasn't in a pay-per-view situation.

I've seen what happens to great players when they finally get to the tv rounds and it isn't pretty.

That's why I believed I had an easy payday.

Now when you get 10 games on the wire I don't think you are going to be so nervous. In fact I think the guy who might end up down 14-0 might start getting nervous.

Since you aren't so nervous you might be able to play above an 880. If you are playing the ghost you aren't going to be nervous compared to playing a monster like Rodney so I respectfully decline your offers.

Play Rodney even in a race to 100 rack your own as originally planned on pay-per-view and I will post $1000 to TAR and you can do the same.

Any discussion about any other bet on anything else with anyone else is out of the question.

TAR has always stood for action plain and simple. For example the Bartrum/Morris match is with weight. I personally would love to see a handicapped one-pocket match with Efren, Scott, or Gabe against someone.

What is your mental block? Donny is a bad mo-fo. Rodney is a little badder mo-fo. Don't think too many would disagree with the above...

Good point. I stand corrected. All the matches I've paid for however were even as will all the matches I pay for in the future. Hopefully the Morris vs. Mills match will be one of those. Only time will tell.

Well were gonna have to outrun the nuts again! This is the latest on morris vs mills (i love watchin the sharks attack the blog) donnie is driving up to capones to talk to rocky about the table situation! Once thats taken care of the game is as follows: Rack your own 9ball (both players can check eachothers racks) donnie gets 10 on wire to 100 for 10 k!

If he does not jump at that offer he is more interested in woofing then playing because at this point given the back and forth on this thread you might as well change your forum name to Santa.

You should be asking if Warren wants to play Rodney.
The first time that Rodney went thru the Philippines, he left a trail of broken cues and tattered bankrolls. Believe me, they haven't forgotten who Rodney Morris is over there. Only two Americans I know of to get out with the cash are Rodney and Johnny.

That being the case if I was Gamemaker I would rather set up an even match against Warren without the advantages of "rack your own" against the best self racker in the game and 10 games on the wire.

Why not just set up a even 10-ball match against the winner of the Hatch/Appleton set since whoever wins that would probably be feeling good enough to play another set and would do it even.

There are alot of other people to play in the world other then Donny Mills and at this point I think a better/more well known player without the spot and criterias is a better match for GM/Rodney.

I'm taking my token back. Shimmy, you're back over the line again. Home room advantage IS an advantage and is almost always a point of negotiation. Maybe you're a self-professed road player and are drawing from your experience when (let me guess) you traveled 30 miles from Bumfck to Cornpatch for a $20 set.

You're talking out of your ass AND insulting a top player in the US. You're an unknown here just causing shit. Take a step back 76 post Hercules or you'll be looking at the wrong end of the ban hammer.

The comical thing about this is that in the past people tried their absolute best to stay under the radar and keep their true top speed a closely guarded secret so they could get more/better action. You seem to be doing the opposite, trying your absolute best to tell everyone how good you are and tell everyone that noone should play you for cash. Odd switch from the ways of the past IMO.
