He was telling me about Nicargua. I had just asked him if they covered their expenses there so he was explaining how they managed to do. He wasn't bragging or saying it disrespectfully. Oscar was justifiably proud of the win because he knows Raj is a terrific player.

The win was in Vegas. In Nicaragua we played lots of others. Not raj. :)

Anyone know if this is still the case. Thought during Earl Vs SVB they said they were switching the rails back to standard for this match. What about the cloth, are they changing it?

I thought I heard something else during the svb/earl match. I thought Mark G. said same table for this match then new 4 1/8" rails going on with new cloth. Please don't bet by what I think I heard...I'm very hard of hearing. Johnnyt

I would have thought the same thing if I didn't witness the slaughter in vegas last year. I tried my hardest to get down on Raj and nothing was available - Thank God for that.

Never under estimate Team Mexico. They have a real strong horse.
 
Why is this match starting at 10 pm est? Will there be a loop for the people that paid for all sets? Johnnyt
 
I don't know to many pool players with more HEART then OSCAR and his safety game is STRONG. Playing on such a tough table will benefit his game. This table isn't as tough as the one he play Morra on but no one thought Oscar had a chance in that one either.

I am just glad we get to see to good guys battle it out with no B.S.

Shoot em full of holes Oscar. Or just safety him to death.
 
From what they were talking about on the TAR 22 stream, the table will be the same, Fatboy rails and all.

After this match, Mark G said that they are installing a diamond ProAm with 4 1/8" pockets and getting rid of the Smart Table.

You're right about Oscar and heart.

I am rooting for him.

He is the clear underdog in this match, according to the betting lines.

The current money odds is Oscar +150, which means if you bet $100 on Oscar, you win $150. That's almost Shane/Earl money odds.

I wish I had some cash to fire, oh well I will just watch and enjoy. When I can.
 
what is the pricing for this match, I hope its much less than svb/earl. I will not pay the same price for smaller names. Maybe Justin will try to cast a wider net with lower prices to see if he gets more subscribers.

If you wont pay 15 a day to watch these 2 play then go to a movie and spend 10 or more to get in and 10 on a soda and candy.

If they lower the price any more it won't be worth doing the match at all.

I am dead broke but I will be paying for this on the nights I am not at work.

His persona ''at table'' seems upbeat and fun and his pace is good, he shoots fast and loose'''....his oponnent....has a calm dig in type of game, with precision. Two good contrasting styles and personalities.

what are the differences in playability beetween the ProAm and the smart table?
