Yeah the Pawn Shop guys just get the profits they make from the items also. Everybody in the know knows that!

They all got paid. Why the F wouldn't they get paid? Who said they didn't? You've gotta be at least 75 years old. WOW They're on a Fing tv show… they do know there are cameras in front of them. Nobody would do this for free.
Everyone on the show got a contract and was paid to be part of the show. Some got more than others but all cast members were paid…

Not a damn thing. Having said that, the show isn't bad. I feel it does a great job at appealing to non pool players.

Well new people that did not see the show see an episode and wonder about what is going on.
I've heard quite a few people talking about the show at poor rooms, they don't really know the people on it though, but it's the same thing as on here. Why do they play and what is the list, who is really the best in the room/NY, are the games staged and of course if they players talking about it can beat who on the show.
cleary...Are you including the whole world in your "real life" scenarios? In the PI, you have tremendous sharking going on in every match, and people are standing 10 deep around the table.
FTR, I enjoy the program, but know the goings on are not real. Finnegan would get punched in the mouth 10 times a day.

That made me laugh, I don't know him or have anything against him, but that image in my head is, well, LOL :thumbup:
LOL it's a tv show… he's the vehicle that drives the show. And honestly Finnegan is hilarious and my favorite character on the show. If you don't know him, you probably hate him but I think he's funny.
Spot on, once again. I hang on every word of Finnegans because it's all so darn funny.
Finnegan is the type of guy you would hope is in ear shot during a pool tournament because his running commentary would make the action that much better.
I was watching Emily play on the show, and one moment she's on one side of the table shooting, and then all of a sudden she jumps to the other side shooting! Like we're going to believe she teleported to the other side of the table! Pffft, so unrealistic.
He is good in front of the camera, actually all of them do a great job.
I'm sure this experience will help everyone involved even if the show does not have a second season.
Maybe he's like Dechaine, quite a few people don't like him also, but I get his humor and attitude and feel he's not nearly as jerky as many say he is.
He would be 86'd from every NorCal Pool Hall within 3 minutes of running his Yap.
