The rematch: Yang vs. Orcullo $10,000 Showdown! (Free live stream)

You certainly have been converted Jay. I remember a time when you were giving games on the wire in this match. :) Let me apologize for that-That really was a heist!!

Hey, I love Dennis' game. But this Yang is something else. I reserve the right to change my mind.
P.S. I bet on Dennis again in this match, even. I wish I could settle with Johnny right now.

I've been a long time believer of Yang's speed. For that matter, I've felt for a long time that Taiwan would be the next country to crank out killers, after seeing how they played in Taiwan, years ago.

I woulda thought after Yang dominated Orcullo last time that we would have more believers, but I guess the flip side is that there will always be someone to take your bet, lol.

He is a has-been!

I was surprised by your info that he is only 31. From the impression I was getting, you would have thought he was in his 50s.

I honestly had no idea who this Yang was but do now. It is a shame that he doesn't visit the US.

He is coming to the US Open for the first time this year. He also played in the Mohegan Sun thing one year but did not do well. It's tough traveling from Taiwan and playing pool the day after you arriive in a strange country with food that you hate.

He also played in the BIG Apple Classic that same year losing hill/hill to Efren in the semis maybe.

Yang was the betting favorite for the WPC several times. He lost to Busta in the semis once where they BOTH had packages of 4 or 5 minimum TWICE!

Taiwanese players rarely ever visit the US, Chao Fong Pang was one of the few to get recognized internationally, since he won the World Championship twice. They just don't have the money or backing to travel so far. Which is probably why Wu moved to SG. On a positive note, Philippines is proving to become the pool capital of the world, and the top Taiwanese players can easily make that short trip. Hopefully they get more recognition. I think when Yang beat Orcullo in 2006, Dennis was not as recognized as he is now. He has definitely improved his game. With his win in the Predator 10-ball and domination of Bartram (no offense), he has definitely built a name for himself. IF, Yang can pull another victory now, I'm sure we will have a lot more believers in him and no one will second guess him.

You may be watching the best money player on the planet. They may need to bring in Alex (although Dennis is supposed to be #1 in the PI) to play him. I don't know if anyone can beat this guy for the cheese.

Yeah, I've said since -02 that Yang is the most 'perfect' player in the world. His A-game is the best, probably only Efren and Strickland could have out moved him on their prime.

I guess Dennis has earned his reputation of being #1 from the nightly money matches in Ph, but he has never really been that good in TV. I guess it affects here also.

Like I said, I've raised Yang's game to be the best in the World from -02, I still have to say that he has underperformed, never been able to fullfill the expectations he has been given, and he has showed weakness, especially when he has been playing in his home turf.

I guess in TV Alex could step up better than Dennis, but I also guess that if they played in Taiwan, Yang could feel the heat more and start to shake again, as he has done in many tournaments, lastly in the World Games in his home town..

Just came back from Club Capo. Dennis was practising after the game until 1am today. He will rest and will be fired up for the final round.

Just got back on the internet now. It went down about an hour before the match was over. My internet hasn't gone out in years. Had to be today. Johnnyt

Thnx for that report.
There might too much pressure on Dennis to win again and Yang is playing great as usual.

I was on the teampillipinos one, and it was choppy. Watchable for a bit, but not for hours.

Is there a concensus on the best of the feeds? What was that one someone touted - clubpaco? But someone else couldn't get the authorization email??

Maybe we sould all register at clubpaco now?

I registered and it went to my spam mail. Check your spam mail too once you have registered...

The JBet guys told me that there were so many people that the server was not able to handle it and it went down.

My final score prediction, 50-40 or worse. Yang broke him down yesterday. Dennis will have to show a lot of heart to come back today.

Isn't it Dennis is a Filpino?..im sure he has a lot of heart to come back and win the match

What happened yesterday transcends nationalities. In the end these guys are pool players, and one is a better player. That's what it always comes down to in pool. The better player shows up in the end. And yesterday it was clearly Yang.

Recorded match being played now. Stream seems fine now.At Clubcapo. Not sure about other site tough

6 racks ahead or even 10 racks is not a guaranteed win for either player. These two are capable of running racks like theres no tomorrow. Who ever catches the momentum tomorrow will win it all the way. So far both player's are breaking poorly, maybe Yang is just breaking a lil bit better than Dennis at the moment.
Tomorrow is a different day. It should be exciting.
