Lenny you don't want to be part of the legal proceedings if something happens. Calm down.

I am calm Mike, it will take more then this to upset me. I am on here speculating what Dippy or Scott's next move is just like everyone else and giving Dippy some sound advice. If you cant see Dippy is wrong here whether he paid the 50k or not then there are some screws loose. Taking a mans wheels he paid for and all the little games he has played along with him making nasty comments on Scotts character along with saying he is going to do this and that about restraining orders and DCC are just crazy IMO. Dippy has been torturing Scott for about a month now with little games and pulling Scott here and there using the money as bait.

Lenny, your reputation and integrity is beyond reproach.

This thread has taken some twists and turns. At first, it
was shocking, then it got interesting, then it got silly, and
now it has gotten sad.

I think it sucks that people with money think they can do
whatever they want, treat people however they want, and
then demand they get respect from others, as if having money
warrants respect. It's sickening that the pool players follow
these kinds of people around like the pied piper, hoping to
get a few crumbs. I have seen this behavior in pool all too
often.

When you get sick, go to jail, or lose all your money, you
will find out how many friends, real friends, you have.

Money talks and B.S. walks. Welcome to the American pool.

Lenny please remove Scotts n**ts from your chin right about now...your his friend and I bet you could name a 100 times he has did you wrong or took advantage of you..he is a sleezeball to say the least..he lucky he didnt get beat to a pulp last time he was in columbus and they called the bouncers off from hurting him...he got paid and blew the money simple as that he is a degenerate gamble and an alcoholic.. he needs help like rehab help or gamblers anonymous..needs some meetings or something..

My bet is he does one more harmful thing to dippy and he will look like eddie felson in the hustler and get permanently retired from pool...i hope he aint still in vegas cause people still can disappear in the desert

Just because someone is my friend and an associate in business does not mean I am nuthugger. I like how people say that about someone who is proud of his friends accomplishments and tries to promote him for stuff like say a DVD or whatever else, trying to help out a player who is in my home room. I have helped other players besides Scott who I see and are in my area and look out for most people who I feel deserve it because I love the game.

Me and Scott laugh about it, the stuff that is online like Watchezs thread about man crushes, we got a kick out of it and some laughs, no big deal. We hang out here and there, talk biz and that is it. He has put money in my pocket and I have put money in his. If being one of his biggest fans too, because one pocket is my favorite game makes me what you say then so be it.

As for Scott doing something wrong to me, I can say I have not been screwed over by Scott. If someone screws me over whether it is friend or family I am done with them for good. I am not like most people in the pool world who screw one another over and shake hands when they see each other around smiling in one anothers faces, talking behind one anothers back. If you owe me something then pay me, if I give my word I do my best to keep it. Some people out there already know this about me and I wont be shy about it either when I am wronged.

Let me ask you a question, would you say all you have posted to Scott's face? If so I expect you to do that next time you see him and hope people on here if they are there remind you of it, that would be more respectable then what your posting and takes more heart.

i just got off the phone <snip>

here is what i told him so there isnt any kis understandings,

If you and Scott are exploring kis understandings then I am extremely hopeful a settlement is just around the corner.

Hallelujah!

Best,
Brian kc

ill say it to his face and i have, im curious how many cell warriors will say it to my face, scott and billy have but what about the rest of the villiage idiots.

Most people will not on here you are right. The internet enables people to be many different people. Most people who have met me know I am the same guy on here and in person. I try to be decent and realize someone greater then myself is watching and act accordingly. Well I am going to sign off of this thread now unless anyone has some little pot shots to take and bait me into some more post, otherwise...

I wish there was a way other than willpower to ignore a thread. This is like watching a trainwreck about to happen in slow motion.

Re: Viffer accused by pool players of stiffing them for $50K

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

they played june 14-15th

i watched most of the first set, very funny thing was the first game i saw frost won, he moved his bead above the table (used to keep score), he racked the balls, then moved another bead signifying that he'd won two games when in reality he just won one. I used to be around the poolhalls 5-10 years ago, and i laughed to myself thinking "nothing's changed" from the poolhall. anyways, like two shots into the next game viffer looks at the score and mentions to scott that he thinks the scores wrong and asks if he moved his bead twice by mistake or whatever, scott of course says he doesnt think so, and then proceeds to ask a group of guys on the rail if he moved it twice or if the score is wrong, they play dumb and say they didnt see anything. well, obv later realize that the group he asked on the rail was part of his entourage. I couldnt speak up and correct the mistake because i wasnt involved in the game and scott didnt ask me (trust me, u arent allowed to get involved from the rail on a dispute unless the players specifically ask u or maybe u are backing the game or something, sounds silly and wrong but its considered bad pool/gambling etiquette). I just kept my mouth shut and watched the rest of the set.So anyways, i dont even think viffer won a game after that, it was painful to watch, viffer had no chance (viffer isnt gonna have any chance vs a pool player pretty much ever cuz they are mostly just nuthunters and are just gonna give enough weight to still win safely). the extra game Frost got didnt really matter cuz he woulda won anyways sooner or later, but i guess technically and ironically, viffer never lost the original set, but i guess poolroom rules he didnt catch it then, so snooze u loose etc.

they finished the set, viffer paid from a big bag on the light (kinda dangerous if some armed thugs found out about that kinda money in that little shopping center). viffer was i think wanting to adjust slightly and get another game spot in a 15 ahead set (which one more game wouldnt really give him a chance anyways) and scott had to wait for billy incardona to get there to raise the bet for some reason even though he just got paid like 40 or 50k or whatever (maybe railbirds had part of it who knows). viffer wanted to play etc and was wanting to bet the rail 10k more, i obv wanted to bet cuz it was basically free money but couldnt cuz i had to get some rest for whatever wsop tourney was the next day and didnt wanna risk the numerous potential ways i could get screwed if i left while i had a bet in progress. finally billy got there and they bet whatever viffer wanted and maybe adjusted the game slightly. i watched a little bit and left and heard a week or so later that viffer stiffed em for like 50k from a few ppl.

anyways, there are only two possible scenarios.

1. viffer paid scott, and he blew it or whatever and lied to billy.

2. viffer just stiffed them for whatever reason.

there is no way billy got paid and lied about it. as someone mentioned, would be silly logic to shake someone down for a debt that's already been paid

i dont know viffer or scott, only thing i know of scott firsthand is seeing him move his bead twice and essentially cheat viffer out of a game he didnt win. now he coulda done it by accident from being ****ed up or just honest mistake, however i doubt it simply cuz when i played pool i always knew scores of sets in my head and its hard to bellieve a top level player didnt realize the score was wrong. ive been away from pool for a long time and hear stories here and there about players doing this or that, or dumping backers etc. ive heard little things about scott, but nothing that i could judge his character or honor on (im sure i could make calls and get better picture of his integrity but i really dont care). so basically no reads on frost other than the stealing of one game vs viffer intentional, or unintentional.

I dont personally know billy, but he is an important person in pool and has been around forever. now dont get me wrong, most pool players are snakes and/or pieces of sht in general. most arent very trustworthy etc. U have to generally be deceptive in pool, hustle, conceal your speed etc. in general to have a chance to make any money in pool, and most do far worse. But, there are some that sorta believe in the "honor among thieves" logic, and i think Billy Incardona definately falls into this category. Billy has a pretty decent reputation or at least really good one relative to the pool world. Of course hes gonna match up nitty/tough and try to win the money or bring in pool players to trap other ones and the usual stuff that happens in pool, but i dont think Billy is a crook or anything. ive heard little things that are typical in the pool world about him, but never of him ripping anyone off or not honoring a bet or anything super out of line.

anyways, im not one for writing off debts etc. but if viffer or someone taht lost a crazy amount to me when they essentially had no chance to win, id probably consider it free money and a bonus of any money i got paid on the debt, id probably just let him buyout for half or a third or something reasonable (mainly hoping to play him more ) as long as he wasnt a pric about it etc which allegedly might be the case with the valet stuff.

i dont know if viffer stiffed them, or if he did what reasons he had to justify it, i left so i dont know what happened after that. but if scott blew the money or part of it etc, i doubt hed ever own up to it with billy cuz billy isnt the type of person u wanna fk over for several reasons.

sidenote: viffer should stop playing these nuthunting pool champions and play me , ive been playing poker for a living for 7.5 years and stopped pool 5 years ago, so he actually has chance to win vs me, i have my own money and super baller friends if i need more to bet

anyways, shtty situation and i hope it gets resolved without any bloodshed etc

another sidenote: why is jean robert bellande such a degen gambler in poker with last longers and crazy cash game swings but such a nit in pool lol? Bobby, step up and play me and u might get a little closer to that mil

I don't see a link here. Couldn't this be the opening salvo of an attack from the Frost camp to hit viffer in his own back yard.Discrediting him on his turff and potentialy disrupting his cash flow ie:credit, access to certain games, table image and over all poker community image. If this scenerio is possible, people better have their ducks in a row. Both communities will protect their own, with poker having more rescources.Lots of dirty laundry could be aired.More and more people could be sucked into the fray making it more ugly than it is now.A cold war situation.

I think this needs to be setteled quietly away from the limelight.Try and let everybody save face.Consessions made on both sides, including an agreed upon cool down period.Say six months. After that period let the mudslinging start anew, along with negotiation of a new match up.

Naaa, this will go on for another 1000 posts and implode at the end.
Well,for what it's worth.

Some things you say make a lil sense but you are all over the charts...you are free with your opinion & this is a public forum but lets just say..If I wanted financial advise I'd go to somebody that got money...If I need relationship advise...i'd go to somebody that's been married for 50 years...here is a direct quote from our previous convo.

"Yea I dont care about your friend the ahab...he pulled an all time double reverse move in a partners game where he was suppose to lose on purpose".

Now with that being said....sounds like you were trying to get Gary to dump on his partner & he might have said ok..just to get you to bet with your partner..but you was all for trying to pull a sleezy move and cut somebody up & got bit by the old karma bug...You can express your opinions all you like but we...."I" don't have to buy it.....it's rt there in black in white from your own mouth....plz try & restrain from giving you opinion on others character cuz u would deffinately have to post.:)

Gary is the one that offered to dump Dane the owner of Cornfeds...I REPEAT HE OFFERED BECAUSE DANE INVITED HIM TO BE HIS PARTNERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.....Only people I have ever owed is bookies and thats part of their business.. I booked before got stiffed its part of it..so post your own mouthhhhhhhhhhhhh...I owe nobody from a pool bet

Hmmmm.....a Poker vs Pool Cold War.

There are some seriously funny possibilities running through my head on that one.

Armies of 15-20 year olds massing for a full frontal human wave attack to defend the honor of their baller king.

One man steps forward on the field of battle for the other side. An Achilles for the pool world, a single Champion to defend all that is good and right in our fair land.

His name is Buddy Hall.

As wave upon wave of Full Tilt tshirt wearing hordes swinging keyboards and copies of Super System II descend upon the brave Champion he carves wide swaths through the horde with his mighty Meucci (1985 Buddy Hall signature model) swinging it in wide powerful circles as the bodies pile up at his feet......

Yeah. We could have some fun with this.

Remember people, when I met Dippie with Scott to collect the $55,000 he owed Dippie said to me he paid Scott. I put Dippie on the spot when I asked him where and WHAT TIME of the day he paid Scott. He answered and said to me " I paid Scott yesterday" I asked him WHAT TIME did you pay Scott, he opened his cell phone up looked into it and said "between 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm " That's when I knew he was lying FOR SURE. There are two reasons why he had to be lying #1 If you look into your cell phone at your text messages it tells you an exact time like 3:34 pm or maybe 3:56 pm, it doesn't show between 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Get it:confused:
# 2 reason I was with Scott from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm so I would of seen him pay Scott.:sorry:

Then Dippie said " couldn't Scott have gotten away from Billy

for the briefest of time and met me at the valet without Billy noticing it" Not likely at all. He would of have to of met Dippie at the valet got paid the money and then went to his room stashed the money and returned. Yea right.:yeah: That woud of taken at least 1/2 hr. there is no chance that that happened, we were together constantly.

Give me a break, he flat out stiffed everyone and played the Scott integrity against his integrity card,:deadhorse figuring he had a shot to get over.

I know Scott's no angel but in this deal compared to Dippie he looks like Mother Theresa. :angel2:

Reason #1 doesn't really get it. DD could have been looking at a 2:55 text where he said to Scott-"I'll meet you outside the Aria-Cmon out" or similar. He knew it took him a while to come out or get there so the time would be estimated.

This is not to say i believe DD-That isnt the case-Im leaning pretty heavily on Scott's story atm. Still both have been severely tarnished in this.

No. This is no different than anything else IMO. In two weeks no one will remember a thing.

It is the same people who read this stuff anyway. Not like the NY Times website has hot links to the Dippy thread.

It's all noise and when it ceases to amuse, entertain or outrage it will be dust in the wind.

I contacted Harry because Scott asked me to, personally I don't like your chances with the truck issue, considering how poorly you have handled it.
And as far as staking Marcus against you and winning a lot of money, I think you're bust, that's why you stiffed everyone.:sorry:

If you guys think he's bust - why bother hiring a lawyer. To get what?

Thanks!

I saved it here if anyone wants or needs it later, for example to prove in court that David Peat of Las Vegas Nevada accepted $10,000 for a 2004 Tahoe which he then admitted to repossessing (stealing) without returning the $10,000.

I'm just saying Dippy is vulnerable at his scorce of bankroll management, his ability raise cash.

The Times may not be interested in what happens on AZ,but they may be interested in a blowup in mainstream poker rags, blogs and forums.Good or bad for the game, I don't know.Basically bringing up another scenerio putting unintended fuel to the fire.
