Thoughts on Sugartree

I really like the one I saw in a TAR thread not long ago. It's one of the best looking cues I've seen and I want one!

You can't get a better cue than a sugartree, you can only get different.
I'm a big fan of beautiful wood, so I'm particularly fond of Eric's cues because I think he's the best at putting wood combinations together and making cues that highlight the beauty that mother nature created.
They hit fantastic, too.
I've got a tulipwood and ebony sugartree that is one of the most unique cues I've ever seen and it plays lights out!

I am the proud owner of sugartree. I had the opportunity to hit with just about every cue at the SBE this year. I couldn't help but buy the sugartree. And the woods are amazing as everyone else has already said.

the best thing about erics cues are not only do they play great but they are made by a great person....he claims to be a ahole but just like ross it is because he tells it like it is...no hidden bs just they way it is...he will help you anyway he can and uses some of the best wood in the business...it helps that his cues are limited and hold there value, but in the end it really comes down to the fact that they play great....

Holy shit yall gonna give me a bad reputation. I think i'm gonna cry or something. Feeling really femme after reading this thread :)

From the ones I've seen, I never seen wood's natural beauty just jump out at you as does with Sugartree.

Of course, I hit some with my friend's and made me jealous she had one :)

I have a few and look forward to getting more. They play great.

They are nice cues. I had a sneaky pete and I thought it was good wood. I think I am on his list. Who knows when I will pop up.

I just received my brand new 2011 Sugartree from Jamie at New2YouCues and i couldnt be happier. Thanks to everyone who gave there input, it is greatly appreciated.

I know two people who have Sugartree cues. Both of them have had them for a long time and both use them as their main playing cue.

I've never heard anything bad about them at all.

I have never hit with a Sugar yet but looking forward to when mine arrives. I think the woods and rings are very nice, just natural beauty. If it hits half as good as it looks then it will be a fine players cue. These 2 are my favorites from Eric, the bottom cue is just sick especially the joint on it matching the points, not sure of the wood. Having met him he is a pretty straight forward and down to earth guy along with being a family man. Not sure if he will be at BCA this year but hope to run into him again.
