The last time I talked to Mark he had mentioned that the operation would probably take place some time in January. He's been on some awful meds in preparation for the surgery and I hope all will pull for this man, not just for all he does for pool but because he is, truly, one of the good guys.

Mark called me late Wednesday. Tried to reach him yesterday. No wonder he didn't answer. Any chance you might know what he wished to speak with me about? Regardless, please convey my best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.
