Best advice I ever got was "Shoot hard and sleep in the street." Mosconi said about the same thing, as did George Fels and a bunch of other pool teachers.

The key to 9 ball is to get ball in hand, there are alot of balls out there, but you have to hit one particular ball first, and it has to go to a rail, therefore it is easy to hide someone behind something other then the object ball. Once you have ball in hand, it's just a matter of making basic shots. Ball in hand will enable you to keep control of the game. Good luck!

Your post made a lot of sense......all the way up to "hi there."

Lose the cue tec firewood, get a 58" good real cue that works, then practice, take lessons from a real teacher. How do you get to carneigh hall, ask any muscian. Here is the answer, practice, practice, practice.

Take your cue shove it up your butt and then go to a forum for wannabe a$$holes....

THAT"s how you play nineball

As in most games have a solid break that makes balls and dont ever miss after the break.

Many of the reply's here seem to know who you are and dont take this as a serious post. I will go out on a limb and give you a serious answer just incase you are asking a serious question.

First look at your overall game and see where you need to improve, like consistently pocketing balls and controling the cueball.

Once you can control the cueball you need to work on game concepts and pattern play. One book I would recommend on this subject is Phil Capells "play your best nineball".

Reading the original post "I know allison fisher plays pool also." tells the story. Apparently he is trying to imitate her. That is what sponsors want people to do, because if she wins playing with a cue tech (not worth capitalizing) it must be the cue. Maybe the poster needs to buy some carpet also.;)
