i only bad mouth people's ability when the lip about being a player when they're not. You must be smoking crack if you think my post is worse than Johnny's. Gene was just trying to be classy and Johnny read the situation wrong and flat-out told Gene to go F himself. I met Gene not long ago and there isn't a bad bone in his entire body - nicest guy ever.

So, you're entitled to say whatever about me... I could care less. I guess if Johnny is "cool" for telling Gene to F-off publicly over nothing, I can post saying he was a dick (which he was). Johnny doesn't have to like it and neither do you. Put me on ignore if you don't like to hear it. Johnny made that post to draw attn to himself...and he did. I wasn't dogging his ability...I quoted him from his last thread about being done on 9 footers.
 
I am far from sorry that I put this in a thread instead of a PM. Over the years on here at least a dozen people have asked to give me something for nothing. None of them came on so strong like Deno. Out of all of them I took some free cue tips after many PM's back and forth. That person never asked for a review on them or anything in return. He also never started a thread to sell them on the main forum. I was brought up not to take things for nothing or take favors from people unasked for. I never want to feel I owe someone something in return. I don't own anybody anything and that's the way I am. As far as thinking I am king of AZ, I'm not and wouldn't want to be, so I'm not looking for your vote 9-ball. As far as calling me a dick spider...just look in the mirror. Johnnyt

This has to be the most hilarious thread yet. Johnny do you think it might be possible that he asked you to review the DVD and system because he respected you as a person?

He certainly didn't ask everyone. And, maybe he did forget that he had already asked you. Otherwise why would he ask you again. So I'm certainly not trying to beat you up, but you may want to think about your position and appologize to the man.

so you know he is a solid guy from meeting him once and talking on the internet? fyi anyone that is selling something is gonna be awful nice aren't they? gene tries to be classy because it's good business, not because he is an angel. get off gene's nut sack for a sec and remember what most pool players are known for... the hustle.

I can't believe he did that JohnnyT. I think Geno should say "sorry" by sending a free copy of his DVD! After you watch it, can you give us a review?

I am in for a sweat bet on Gene regardless of what table they play on, Gene is a great guy even when he is not trying to sell you something. He lived here in KC for several years and was always trying to help people improve their games.

I don't know Gene but I talked to him on the phone yesterday for an hour. He came across as a genuinely good person, not a slick salesman. Sure he had a vested interest in talking to me nice, since I'm reviewing his product, and if I trash it, it may hurt his sales. Not that my opinion carries any importance whatsoever on this forum, I haven't been here long enough and don't have any creds, but things that are said here are indexed by Google, and Google is the first thing would-be customers turn to to get an outside opinion. But I honestly didn't think for one second Gene was trying to sweet-talk me, and I'm pretty good at detecting social-engineering.

You need to have more faith in humanity my friend. Most people don't behave nicely with you strictly because there might be money to be made off of you you know...
