It is not dishonarable to try and "sell" something. Only the means that are used to try and sell something can be dishonarable. Attempting to give something away in exchange for a review doesn't seem to be in any way shady or unethical.

Not enough room in the sandbox for everyone, it seems. Sad to see such a peeing contest, but not alltogether surprising any longer. :rolleyes:

Johnny that's unbelievably nitty of you to even create a thread like this. First of all if you've tried to help 1/3rd of the people Geno does I'd be very impressed with you. You keep thinking this is all about scams, hustles, and the almighty dollar. Well my friend, it isn't! How much money do you think he makes when a lesson runs 2-3 hours long? In that instance he's probably the cheapest instructor in the country.

Geno is also no hack. The man is a player. Usually other players definitely can respect another great player. This isn't about sipping the kool-aid either. Usually a studious player is on the quest for knowledge. All he did was offer you another club to put in your bag. It's worth it just to know and have for tough situations.

Johnny you claim to have been a former hustler as well. Not just pool but pretty much in all aspects of your life. Well how the hell can you knock a man who is trying to put his product out there in a saturated market? I hope eventually you can realize you are out of line and trashing one of the good guys for little to no reason. I know Geno, I feel like he'd put a DVD in the mail to you and hope you pick something up from it. He also always answers his phone and calls you back.

Change your tune JohnnyT there is enough bad on these boards without these threads.

You seem a little high and mighty for what reason I don't know. You start a thread whining about how you can't play big table pool and get a little sympathy vig then throw up on your keyboard with this BS. You seem to be getting to be a bitter old man in your posts. Why don't you go look up the content of your posts a year ago compared to what they are now? A little reflection will help you.

Oh and the next time you start one of those silly ass, freshman year type of threads with snippets of your short stories, I hope you get shit on. If you wanna be real about something, you don't write very well and you're awfully predictable.

I've been talking to Gene for months, although I just met him. I have a pretty good knack for people's characters. He's one of the nicest guys I ever met in pool - without a doubt.

I'm not on his nutsack because I'm defending him as a nice guy with good intentions. Hustle? He offered his video to JohnnyBoy for FREE. Are you out of your ever-loving-effing-mind?

Well, he may be a prince - but he is also a RELENTLESS self-promoter.

I don't know him from boo, but rumor has it he is a very solid player.

He is not an accomplished player because of the "method" he is
hawking. And you can bet on that.

JohnnyT is nothing but a mediocre pool player who is trying to be something on this forum. His self aggrandizing posts are evidence of this. Gene, on the other hand, is the real deal. He may be a self promoter, but he can back up his talent. One is a wannabee two bit hustler, the other a no nonsense pool player. I'll let you guess which one.
 
I would feel honored if someone thought I was a good enuff player to evaluate a training DVD.
I always find a way to pay someone back for a kind gesture.
In the repair biz, I always do a thorough shaft clean for a customer regardless if he wants to pay for it or not. It comes back to you eventually.
I've seen Geno's posts before and this thread kinda makes me want his DVD.
My aiming on long shots is either on or way off, but not consistent enuff to have confidence 100% of the time.

I dont like getting sales calls on my landline all day...i bet none of you guys do either. it gets annoying after about the first 3.

i dont have a problem with Geno at all....i dont have a problem with him hustling to sell his product. But the constant sales pitch might rub people the wrong way after so long.

kind of like Sales calls on the landline...by the end of the day you just want to snap on the mofos sometime..

everybody here knows you sell the Perfect Aim Gene. your posts while they mean good to me they sometimes ....seem like a Jehovah's witness that just wont quit nocking on the door. People get tired of it and just end up flying off the handle.

to feel like your getting battered with someone elses agenda isnt fun.

To ask for something for nothing is one thing, refusing something for nothing is another story entirely. This is ridiculous!!
