You know what is the longest and hardest thing in the world for a truck driver ?
5 th grade.
Hey, I resemble that Mikey. Don't you remember that I was a Truck Driver most of my life.
I graduated from High School also. Where I learned many things, mostly in the parking lot, Pool Halls and Bars way under age.
Wasn't great at a lot of things, but put a steering wheel in my hands, and I got the stuff to where it needed to be.
Anyway, Danny is an icon. I have watched and listened to Older Actors give speeches during the Oscars, Emmys and so on, that thought they were still capable.
Faltering voices that were once young, forgetting now, more lines, even tho they are written down on a piece of paper directly in front of them.
At some points, even feeling a little embarrassed for them.
Give Danny his dues. He isn't going to make many more years in the booth. Not saying that he is going to pass, just that he likely won't be able to be there physically.
And once he is gone for good, people are going to start Threads saying, "Gee, I sure miss listening to Danny's stories in the booth.
