IF you had to select 3 U.S. players to promote worldwide to change the image of American Pool, who would they be? YOU CAN SELECT UP TO 3 PLAYERS IN THE POLL!!!

Please take into consideration the attitude and personality as well as their playing ability.

If your selection is not listed, select other and reply with your pic.

Remember, the players have to be american citizens.

Ladies: Jeanette Lee, Jennifer Barretta, Melissa Herndon
Men: John Schmidt, Gabe Owen, Tony Robles

John Schmidt has the look, the personality, and the game to be able to market our sport with class.

Tony Robles has an endearing quality that is contagious to those in his presence.

Alex Pagualayan has the energy and charisma needed to attract an wide marketbase for our sport.

Those are my top 3, honorable mention to Danny Harriman (genuine honest person), Luc Salvas (blinding speed of his game attracts an audience) , and Thorsten Hohmann (Class, determination, great role model for kids).

Sorry - not all are American, but my picks.

Hey ol' pal Dave, The last I knew, Luc and Alex were Canadian, and Thorsten was still a German ambassadeur.

thanks

thanks for the kind words everybody.im flattered that some people think i would represent the game well or be highly marketable . i do think though ,that just about everyone on the list and a few others could be great reps for the game.again thats a strong list of players and i am humbled to be included. ive got to go now and call about 50 people to vote for me lol.

I'm surprised Earl isn't an option. Sure he's got a lousy temper, apears to be going crazy and is a horrible sport but he's A CHARACTER. Would be perfect to get people excited about pool. Not to mention he's a great player as well...Don't get me wrong i think a lot of his conduct is completly out of line but still. Hey people like rodman and t.o. got their sports some attention, why not have earl contribute a little to get pool in the spotlight again :)

lol

shocker!!!!

Where's Rodney Morris? Handsome, dresses sharp always, soft spoken and a gentleman to boot! If I had a Pool company, I would want him to rep for me.

Steve Moore, John Schmidt and Corey are also good choices for their clean cut look.

Remember marketing has a lot to do with character along with personality, look and playing ability. Competitors would have a field day if some people were chosen to represent a certain company or product, whether it was billiard related or not.

What the Hell is the matter with ya People ??? Am I not good enuff for marketing ? Go on, Laugh at me and I'll hit ya with my cue stick! :D :D :D

But look at the audience in the picture you posted up, Hail Mary Shot. The crowd looks as if they are enjoying their tournament experience.

Some events I go to, it's like a church, and the seats are empty.

When Earl Strickland is in the joint, you can be sure that his table will be surrounded by curious onlookers. Plus, he's still got game! :)

Jam, that was Earl making that remark ! Since they forgot all about Earl in the poll. :D

I just added it for entertainment purposes. and besides, I like the Pearl ! A true class act especially when he losses, a true character ! Though he may look silly, I'm pretty much entertained so to speak ! :D

And you are able to recognize excellence, Hail Mary Shot! :)

Earl Strickland is an American legend in pool. Nobody has achieved his status when it comes to championship wins. I cannot imagine seeing any player win the U.S. Open five times, as Earl has done. Some players may peak for a few years, but Earl today can still get there. To leave him out of this poll must have been an oversight.

Sing it loud:

USA, all the way.
USA, all the way.
USA, all the way.

Scottster said that if my player is not included in the selection, then I should post a pic. well....that is just what I did a while back! and now :D !!!
