Trusted Dealers

i also agree with Don sometimes you get a better deal going straight to the cuemaker, but Bamacue's prices are just as cheap or sometimes cheaper than the dealer.he does not care if he only makes $50 on a cue.he will just sell it to sell it.usually dealers get the cue about 25% cheaper than we do from the cuemaker,so they have room for negotiation and they can also mark it up or mark it down on their website.

Bro' I don't know where people get these ideas from. Maybe we get 25, maybe we get 20, maybe we get 30 percent off. The point is we have a discount threshold that we need to maintain. I just can't say well I got it for 25% off, let me sell it for 20% off. I need to protect my cuemakers secondary market and the value of his cues overall. Any cuedealer not doing this is doing no one any favors.

Used cues, if you get into them right then you can do what you want. But even with those we like to protect the cuemaker as much as we can. If I get into a Richard Black Bushka for 500.00 and sell it for 600 I do damage to Black's reputation, I won't do this to any cuemaker, no matter if I like them or not. I will be more flexible, but don't expect me to drop my drawers.

Consignment cues that I don't own, I leave it to the consignee. If he wants to take a loss, so be it. But we advise against it.

i understand the top tier guys will not discount them.they don't need to,but i knw a few dealers and many of the mid tier guys do give the dealers who buy say 10 cues at a time when they are ready a 20-25% break.there is also nothing wrong with that.that is just business.

Man, I wish I could buy some cues at 25% off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ME TOO..... MAYBE WE SHOULD START BUYING PRODUCTION CUES SO WE GET BETTER DISCOUNTS.

new2youqs

I have purchased 2 cues from Jaime over the last year and both deals went very smoothly. I would highly recommend doing business with them. Even though I haven?t purchased a cue from him yet, I have been impressed with the selection and prices of cues that Bamacues has been consistently offering.

Who, in your opinion, are the most trusted dealers to do business with? What I mean by this is who stands behind their product and will step forward if an issue arises with your cue purchase. Especially within the first 12 months - barring abuse of the cue.

I haven't dealt too much with dealers, but my favorites so far are Ken Kerner, Sean fron Cue Addicts, and Bill from Cornerstone. Each of them, in one way or another, have treated me or others I know in a way I would consider "above and beyond". I don't know if Fast N Loose (Marcus) qualifies, but he is really good to work with.

I've had good experiences with many dealers, but these are the stand-outs.

Trusted dealers

Since you didn't specify cues only... I'd like to throw in Joe Nielsen billiards supply. Not neccesarily the lowest deals but he has incredible service and he will go out of his way to make sure the transaction goes smoothly. I don't know anyone who has had a bad dealing with him.

THANKS CHRIS..... TO BE HONEST I DON'T KNOW IF I QUALIFY AS A DEALER OR NOT EITHER, BUT I APPRECIATE THE MENTION.

P.S. CHRIS IS ALSO GREAT TO DEAL WITH

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the nice words.. You've hit the nail on the head.. "Above and Beyond" Any seller (dealer) will have to do this on a constant basis if they plan on staying around long.. Word of mouth in this small industry gets around very quickly.. Doing the right thing will always have it's rewards.. Over the course of 20 years in the cue business, I've learned there's no replacement of a good reputation..
In a short time knowing Chris, he has earned my respect..

I must apologize for my website Highendcues not being updated in some time now.. This website stuff is still new to me.. Especially when my Webmaster is hard to find to maintain it for me.. I'm very old school with my regular customers.. They stop most cues from making to the site.. I will make about 25 cues available soon..
Thanks for your patronage..
Best,
Ken Kerner

Customer service...

You bring up an important issue Dawg. Since I sell mostly new cues from specific cuemakers, it is important to me that each cuemaker I feature stand behind his workmanship. I discuss this matter with them before taking their cues on. Each cue I sell is warranted for workmanship to the original owner. A joint pin, shaft collar, buttcap, or even a wrap should never come loose under normal playing conditions. Any of the cuemakers I represent would gladly take care of something like that if it was clear that the cue was not abused in some way. I also believe most, if not all authorized dealers of specific cuemakers offer a similar kind of warranty. The cuemakers and dealers I know prefer the customer continue to be satisfied with their cue purchase long after the sale.

THOSE PROBLEMS SHOULD BE HANDLED BY THE MAKER IN MY OPINION. BUT NOW IF THE DEALER ISN'T DIRECT WITH THE MAKER, THAT MAKES IT EVEN MORE CONFUSING. BUT THE MAKER SHOULD STILL TAKE CARE OF IT.

This is only my opinion on this. If I build a cue and it doesn't make a diferrence which one of my dealers sell it. If there is a manufacturing problem with the cue. Then I will waranty it without any hesitationat at all within the first year! Buyer also has to have original receipt from the dealer whom it was bought from. This is how you get and also keep good customers!

I am a cue builder. I can tell you this much about me personally. If I build a cue and there is a manufacturing problem with the cue within the first year, as long as the buyer has the original receipt from the dealer or myself then that cue is getting fixed or replace with another cue depending on the problem with cue. This is how I believe that business should be done with all of us custom cue builders. Also if you are a dealer of overseas cues, then that warranty is on you. As I always say buy American get what you pay for! Buy overseas products and you have a problem eventually.

I have done a few deals with Erik Lee and he has always treated me well, whenever i have an itch to buy a cue i usually look for him first ;) I have done 1 or 2 deals with Sean at Cueaddicts and Jamie at New2youQ as well, both are great too.
