Update in Dave sutton

Some may know but Dave was in a bad car accident. On Friday he hit some black ice going 50+ mph and hit a guard rail and a tree. He is suprisingly ok for how bad the accident was. What saved him was the major impact hit was in the back where the spare tire on the jeep. Probably saved his life.

Anyway he asked me to post this for his customers that are expecting work from him. He should be home Monday and when he gets a new cell phone you can contact him. Thanks for your patience.

Tell Dave if he needs anything to give me a call. He has my tel#. As far as customers waiting for cues, Daves life is way more important than any cues in the works. I`m sure his customers feel the same way as I do. Tell Dave to hang in there & take things one day at a time. Thank you Chris for posting this & I will help in any way I can. May Dave have a speedy recovery & God be with him. My prayers go out to him.

My thoughts EXACTLY. First and foremost is that Dave does everything he can to take care of himself...and that includes listening to doc's orders. He strikes me as a somewhat stubborn S.O.B :eek::rolleyes:.....so telling him to behave might take a bit of effort. :grin-square:

Chris - Give Dave my regards, and have him call or write if he needs anything. He's not that far from me...and it's no trouble at all.

Please tell Dave Rex sends his best wishes! What was he doing away from his lathe? He's not a professional stunt driver damn it! Hope he gets well soon.. this is very sad news but I'm glad it's not worse. ~Rex
 
Thanks so much for the posting Chris - please tell Dave glad he is on the mend - also - as most everyone has said tell him to listen to what the docs say and rest and take it easy!!! - his physical injuries may not have been that bad but the trauma of going through something like that can do a real number on your head for awhile - so - RELAX - and that's an order!!! -

Hope you get back up & around quickly, Dave. Glad you were spared any more serious injury. I hope your pup wasn't with you & that she wasn't hurt.

Great post Jeff,

This has been a tough weekend for AZer's.
The fact that the spare tire saved him is a miracle.

I know that your cue being completed by Dave is the last thing you would
worry about is a situation like this.
You're one of the most stand up guys I've even known.

Thank God Dave Sutton is OK.
I'm anxious to hear him tell the story.

Wow, it sounds like Dave is really fortunate - best wishes to Dave and thanks for letting us know.
